This is the motto by which Blaze’s life of war, revolution, and explosions is led. She’s a soldier in the revolution, fighting against the crown for a better world. The fight is her life and she doesn’t intend to loose this war to the monarchy, especially since her family has given everything because of it.

I’d like this rp to have whump and angst and yeah all that jazz and maybe a touch of a slow burn romance as well (maybe an enemy to lover sort of thang?) And for a setting maybe a slightly futuristic/ a hint of post apocalyptic in there? But yeah, I’m completely bored and all of my rps are dead so please join and keep me from dying of boredom over summer break :)

Rules:
-be active, I’m bored and will be on a lot so please don’t disappear for days on end without telling me.
-Andrews rules duh.
-please have at least semi decent grammar and punctuation and spelling, I get that mistakes happen but please don’t be misspelling everything.
-Please Post More Than One Sentence Or Snippet Of Dialogue. (Pet peeve of mine)
-be creative! Add your own side characters, make cool backstories go wild!
-Swearing is completely cool with me
-let’s keep this PG-15 or so in the romance thing if it happens (smut to pms obv) but if there’s blood or any of that jazz go crazy, I’m fine with anything in that category
-I’d like to keep any romance in this straight sssssooo yeahhh
-Ask Before You Join!
-template will be up when I remember to get it up unless you want to go in blind

@gracehustle

I’d prefer going in blind then XD (I don’t feel like finding a template atm..) Do you want me to post a starter now? I probably won’t respond until tomorrow morning if I do post it right now since I gotta get to bed soon.

@gracehustle

Will do!

Blaze’s grip on her weapon tightened and she looked down the field through the scope, already ready for the practice drill to be over. The wind kept rustling through the long dry grass and she couldn’t concentrate on trying to spot the others sneaking through the field with the noise. It was almost too quiet. She rocked back and forth inaudibly on her feet at the top of the hill, her pack on her back becoming heavier by the moment even though she knew she was just imagining it. Another breeze blew through and her eyes narrowed, focusing in on something moving through the grass in her direction that definitely wasn’t the wind.

The male sighed as he looked around, brushing his hair from his face. He looked rather exhausted from so much training. His fists were sore, his face drenched in sweat. "That's it…" He mutters, his hand falling from his chocolate brown hair, his dark green eyes looking around the training room where people much like him were still practicing. He shrugged and walked out and looked around before exiting. He was back in his combat gear, looking around and shouldering his bag. war raged around him, but he was an elite, he was a top soldier. He grabbed his sniper and sighed lowly.

@gracehustle

“It’s either a spooked rabbit or someone to target,” She muttered, raising her gun again and looking through the scope with her hazel eyes. For a moment she thought she saw a flash of a uniform and a tiny smile crossed her face. If it was who she thought it was, then training could be over when she called out their position. The thing was definitely coming towards her. “Found ya Jax.” Blaze called out and the thing in the grass stopped moving, standing up with a fake scowl. It was a boy, or to be specific a young man, with the same pack and uniform on as she had on.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Commander Gray." A voice says quickly. He looks around at his rank and raises a brow. "Yes?" There was a soft giggle. "Gotcha!" His sister popped out of nowhere. He laughs a little and ruffles her hair. She was his stealth partner. Andrea was her name, but she preferred going by Andy or her code name, Fox. "Hey Keith. How are ya feeling?" She asks. She had a completely different section of training then he did, so he usually saw her when he left the gym. "I'm okay. Tired. Ready to head home before tomorrow's mission?" She nodded eagerly.

@gracehustle

“Finally Sparky, I thought you’d never snap back into reality and see me.” He called, starting up the hill to her. Jax wasn’t related to Blaze in any way, but he was one of her closest friends left and one of the only people in their squad she knew.

She shrugged, “Being in my head is better than being out here.” She fiddled with the safety on her gun before flipping it on and slinging the weapon over her shoulder, “I want to get one more decent meal in before we head out for the raid tonight, so hurry up.” Blaze turned on her heel and looked at their base on the other side of the hill. It wasn’t much, with mostly just a scatter of building to make it look like a town around on the surface. Underneath the ground though, it was completely different.

He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair as he inspects his sister. She had soft brown like he did, cut into a neat bob. She had steely grey eyes and tanned skin, with an hourglass figure. She was beautiful in every sense of the word; especially personality wise. Keith was proud to call her his sister. He looks around and sighs. "I'm ready to hit the sack." He mutters. "But oh well." he hummed as they walked. Andy was going over her mission report. Keith walked beside her, their footsteps in sync.

@gracehustle

Once Jax had reached the top of the hill, they started down to the base together, the sun setting in front of them as night came. Blaze looked over at her friend, his Hispanic heritage clear as it was when he reminded her daily. “So, ready for this raid?” She asked, breaking the silence as they reached the houses. Opening the door to one of the houses, they slipped inside and headed down a hidden staircase to the underground.

“Of course Sparky, it’s just a simple weapons raid. Take their ammunition and guns and maybe take out a few men before heading back.” He lead the way, slipping into the shadows of the unlit staircase until he reached a door at the bottom. With a simple twist of the handle he opened the door for her, opening to a mess hall with hallways branching this way and that. Once he had opened the door he made a beeline towards the line for food, leaving her in the dust as she closed the door and slipped into line next to him.

@Vuclan-is-tired

"Man I'm hungry." Andy mutters as she walks. "I wonder what cook made us today? I hope it's pork cutlet. I love the stuff." She giggles, bouncing excitedly. Keith just rolled his eyes. "Calm down. You're drawing attention." He laughs a little bit. Andy shrugged and hummed as she walked- practically skipped- beside him. She hummed a cheery tune before they entered the building that was their living quarters. He entered the password into the door and he heard a soft click. He opened the door and let Andy in. She hummed happily, thanking her brother before walking through the halls, practically running to the food court.

@gracehustle

“When are we heading out?” She asked as the line slowly shuffled forward. A few hundred hungry soldiers, townsfolk, not much food and a handful of refugees meant slow lines, though the food was pretty good. Rocking on her heels, her hand went to her hair as she tried -and failed- to run her fingers through it. Normally she wore it down in waves past her shoulders, but today it was up in the tidiest bun she could get the thick mess of chocolate brown wavy hair into.

“Few hours,” He answered simply, shrugging his pack off his shoulders and setting it to the side by one of the more empty tables close to the line. “We want to get there near midnight, when we’re not visible and can pull a surprise attack, so commander wants us fed and ready to go. We’ll most likely be running most of the way, we need to make good time.”

@Vuclan-is-tired

Andy rushed to the food and took her plate eagerly, making sure it was pork cutlet and then walking happily towards a table. He grabs his food and walked to the table as well, eating happily. He sighed as he took a drink of his water. He looked over to his sister and laughed a little as he noticed her stuffed cheeks. "Slow down there. You'll get a stomach ache." He smiled at her as she ate. She shrugged. "I'm hungry." She replied as she looked around.

After they were finished the two siblings walked to their bunkers. "Rest well little sis." He ruffles her hair gently before walking into his room. She laughed and saluted him. "Night big bro." She said before shutting her door. He hummed as he set his things on his bed and settles beside it. He looked exhausted.

@gracehustle

Blaze nodded, slipping her pack off and setting it next to Jax’s before standing on her tip toes to try to see what they were serving. She wasn’t terribly short, but compared to the six foot giants that seemed to take over the space, she was tiny. “Apples, some sort of pasta..and dried jerky?” She guess from what she could see, stepping forward as the line moved, “Not bad, better than last night at least.”

“I think they have carrots too..and, oh! Tomatoes!” He pumped his fist and a grin spread over his face, “The farmers come through once again.” Waiting in line was torturous but soon they got their food and were sitting down by their packs, both scarfing up their food faster than you could say ‘pasta’.

He fell back in bed, looking at a small picture before patting it into the breast pocket of his shirt and slowly leaned back into his bed. But he was far from falling asleep. His mind wandered, which wasn't a good thing for a soldier. He sighed a little and shook his head as he tried to think before opening his eyes and stretching as he walked around and shook his head as he looked around. He wasn't sure what to do or what to expect. But he didn't like the feeling in his gut.

@gracehustle

After they were both done with their trays, she took them back to where they needed to be returned before meeting Jax back at the table. He was already slinging his pack onto his shoulders and she did the same, knowing they were to meet at the edge of town in only a few minutes. This raid wasn’t supposed to be big, with the fewest amount of people they could send to raid the smallest one of the crown’s bases.

Jax led the way back out of the mess hall, gun in hand and Blaze followed. He stopped by the few other people standing around near the doorway, nodding to their commander- Peters- and waiting for the instructions.

“Quick, quiet, in and out. The fewer people that know we’re there the better. Remember our motto.” Those were the instructions they were given before they set off at a nice jog, packs bouncing across their backs and guns held tightly in their hand.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Keith sighed and decided to grab his sniper and walk out of the building, nodding to the night patrol, his badge clear on his chest, showing he was an elite. The rules didn't really apply to him. He hummed as he walked, settling on his favorite perch and looking through his scope to aim around, shooting small targets every so often. Leaves usually as they fell from a tree.

Andy got up as well, sighing softly as she did so. She couldn't sleep either, so she decided to go around and talk with the night guard, playing a game of cards or just chatting. She was the opposite of her brooding brother, more out there and ready to be social. She loved her brother though, preferring to be with him. He always softened around her, they were siblings after all.

@gracehustle

The must have jogged for a few hours, but to Blaze it felt like minutes. Her thoughts kept her plenty occupied and she almost didn’t notice when the team slowed down to a crawl. She looked around and nodded when she saw a faint light, understanding that they were near the facility. Quickly, she flipped the safety off her gun, following the others silently as they seemed to blend into the shadows and snuck towards their target.
