Lorelei chuckled and returned the kiss happily, running her fingers through the soft blonde locks. She wasn't going to push anything on Aliana. Not ever. But she couldn't deny how much she wanted to be with her. “I hope you don't mind sharing my cabin. I don't think you would enjoy sleeping below deck.” she murmured.

"I do not mind it at all," Aliana murmured back with a light hum in her voice. Her hands found themselves wrapped around Lorelei's waist and her lips found themselves back on Lorelei's. Aliana wasn't going to make Lorelei do anything she didn't want to do, but the princess found herself currently addicted to kissing her lover since now she could do so without fear.

“Good.” Lori hummed, not pulling away from the kiss. It had been far too long since the last time they were able to be close like this. She gently pulled Aliana closer, more than willing to make up for the time they had lost.

@ShadeStar

Aliana didn't respond instead adding the tiniest bit of passion to the kiss. Not much, just enough that Lorelei knew Aliana was attempting to make up for lost time. She let herself be pulled closer to Lori letting her lover place her wherever Lori wanted her to be.

Lorelei smiled into the kiss and moved Aliana so that she was on the taller woman’s lap. She kept one arm around her waist as she gently tangled her fingers in Aliana's curls. Were it not for the familiar motion of the Siren’s Song, the two could easily imagine that nothing had changed.

@ShadeStar

Aliana hummed against Lorelei's mouth as she settled into Lori's lap. She could still feel the sway of the ship beneath them, but let it fade to the background as she let her lover take the lead.

Lori sighed softly in reply and slowly leaned back, laying down with Aliana on top of her. Though she was careful of the tray of food, knowing how disappointed Charlie would be if they wasted the meal. Or broke the bottle since drinkable water was just as valuable on a ship as actual treasure.

@ShadeStar

Aliana made a slight noise of surprise as Lori leaned back. She moved her arms so she didn't completely put all of her weight on Lorelei unless Lori wanted her to of course. But Ali used her new position to hesitantly deepen the kiss with Lorelei.

Lori chuckled softly at the sound and wrapped her arms around Ali’s waist, pulling her closer. She didn’t mind the weight as she responded eagerly to the kiss even though she was starting to feel a little light-headed.

@ShadeStar

Aliana let herself down onto Lori but was very ready to push herself back up if need be. She pulled out of the kiss panting as her lungs had started to scream for air.

@ShadeStar

"Perfect. And you?" Aliana whispered back. She had a soft smile on and leaned into Lori's hand as the other tucked away her blonde curls.

@ShadeStar

"I would have to say the same my love," Aliana agreed as she turned her head slightly to kiss the palm of Lori's hand. She looked back down at Lorelei with a shy blush as she admitted, "Lorelei, I, I have dreamt for so long about this moment. Where we were reunited after so many years and were free to show our love for each other. And, by God, am I happy this moment has finally arrived."

Lori smiled softly at everything Aliana did and said. “At least you could dream. There were nights when I couldn't sleep for missing you. I would either take the helm and let the sea guide us for hours or walk the deck and just think of you.” she admitted, running her fingers through the blonde hair. “I still can't believe that you're really here.” she said softly as she blinked back a few tears. “As for expressing our love… No one can tell us otherwise now. On the seas, love… is love. It doesn't matter who it's between. Captain’s and first mates can even perform legal marriages.”

@ShadeStar

"There was not a night that I did not dream of you," Aliana replied letting out a soft noise at Lori's hand running through her hair. She had the softest of looks on her face as she simply admired her love's face. Though it turned to surprise at Lorelei's final statement about marriages, "Really? I did not know that."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“It's true.” she smiled with a chuckle. “It's usually the Captain's duty on their ship but if the Captain is the one getting married, then the first mate can fill in the position. We can ask Jax later if you want.” Lori offered since he had been the one to tell her about it.

@ShadeStar

"We can," Aliana agreed with Lorelei. But she was very hesitant with her response and then decided to follow up soon after, "But if you do not mind, I want to wait. And, and I think I want to have a 'proper' ceremony. One where we both get to truly celebrate our love."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Lorelei nodded at Aliana’s reply. “I don't mind. We've been apart too long to just jump into it. Especially since we just saved you from one.” she chuckled. “But don't worry, my love. Whatever you decide to do, no one will deny how much we love each other. It will be a celebration either way.” she assured her.

@ShadeStar

"Good," Aliana smiled at all of Lorelei's statements. She couldn't help as tears began to form in the corner of her eyes and slowly roll down her cheeks. Each tear took a layer of make up with it and Aliana reached up to try and stop them. She was surprised it took this long for the tears to fall given how emotional she tended to be.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Lori gently ran her thumb across Aliana’s cheek, brushing away some of the tears before embracing her close and rubbing small circles on her back. It had been a long and chaotic morning. She wasn't going to tell the other woman to stop crying. Honestly, it was probably good for her to let it all out.

@ShadeStar

The tears were happy ones, do not mistake them for sad or stressed ones. But Aliana couldn't stop them from falling as she pushed her face into Lorelei's shoulder. Laughter began to bubble up and spill out to join the tears as she spoke, "I am sorry. These are tears of joy, I promise."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“Don't apologize.” she whispered, still making the soft gestures. But she smiled at the assurance and hearing her laugh. “That is a relief. But you still don't have to apologize.” she chuckled softly as she held Ali closer.

@ShadeStar

"Sorry. I felt like I should," Aliana laughed as more tears fell down her face. She pushed herself further against Lorelei's shoulder as she continued to cry.
