Ooo yes! The best worst parents ehe

Like they're chaotic but also really just genuinely want the best for the kid.

also dude. this is Sherlock's kid. the kid is probably smart as fuck and can also get away with anything?? "Well auntie mina said I can have a cookie so :P"

YES. Say no more.

"Hey dad look what Uncle Dorian gave me!" "nO– Dorian we've talked about this!"

I have bad news for you about Dorian… that I won't tell you, unfortunately.

@Tired-but-passionate

Actually I made a new character recently and I kinda want to use them for this? They’re name is Efraim and they’re selectively mute, so I think it would be funny if they were also invisible. Like everyone is talking about stuff and Efraim chimes in and everyone freaks out because they’ve been silent this whole time and no one can see them

cue horrified screaming from Tom at the realization that there is someone else in the room lmao

Ehehehe Efraim would take amusement in the fact that they have such an affect on ppl

Honestly since the only roles that are left are Quartermain, Nemo, and Jekyll/Hyde I might just scoop those up for myself so this could be an awkward three person RP where I play too many people lmao unless y'all want to take another character? I'm just being dumb.

I can take Nemo, so that there's a bit more of an even balance character wise?

I could take Quartermain? But I’m also not familiar with them so it’s okay if you just want to play them Orion

Ice can have Nemo, and I'll fill you in on Quartermain's situation.

Nemo's whole deal is that he was once a rich Indian nobleman (going off the original books here as I admit I don't know much about the culture of the era) but when the British colonized his land, he took his riches and fled before they could make a public example of him. He tried to bring his family with him, but unfortunately they were slaughtered in the escape, sending Nemo spiraling into a deep depression. Eventually, he became a pirate, destroying British navy ships when he saw them but leaving merchants and travelers alone. Eventually he created a great Submarine Ship, the Nautilus, and used that to create more targeted attacks. Eventually, however, he tired of the piracy, feeling bored more than remorseful. He eventually was sent for by M., his reward? Nothing. He just knew it would be enough of a challenge, as well as Nemo's colonized homeland being threatened.

Alan Quartermain was the son of Christian missionaries in Africa, and a brilliant hunter and sportsman. He never married, never being interested in those sorts of affairs (cough aromantic cough). He aged, though, and the medicine of the time was not very good, most of his friends died. He always preferred Africa's climate to that of Britain's, and spent most of his life there, at least until M. called for him and his skills, offering money for Quartermain to continue living in the remote area comfortably (Quartermain had been doing some risky spending in the past few years, and that caused him to accept the offer instantly). He has one living friend, though, a foreigner American hunter by the name of Sanger Rainsford who he spoke to once in person, wrote many letters to, and lost contact with many years ago after Rainsford's mysterious disappearance.

A note: He probably will either learn from or not get along with Nemo because,,,, British.

Well. Quartermain is a separate character but I am finding a way to give the characters some relation.

Y'see, this is the fun part of figuring character dynamics out. Anyways, let's do templates and then I'll pull up a starter.
