Alright so I came up with this random idea because I'm bored and lonely.
You are an adventurer who has heard of a legendary treasure deep inside a mountain and have decided to go and search for it. The only problem is, the legends speak of a dragon who guards the treasure. You arrive, and sure enough, there she is. However, she isn't exactly as the legends told… She is some sort of half dragon shifter who mostly spends her time in dragon form to protect her treasure. You fight her, and she seems careful not to actually kill you. You keep returning, and it seems almost as though she starts looking forward to you returning…
ALRIGHTY. So, this is a romance roleplay, if you couldn't tell. I'll be taking on the role of the dragon shifter, and you will be a (preferably male) adventurer. I have nothing against the LGBTQ+ community, trust me; I have many a gay roleplay. I'd just prefer this one to be a straight romance.
RULES
-Please please please be active! I'm very active, and several of my roleplays have died because my roleplay partner isn't active and prioritizes other roleplays over the one we're in and I keep bumping it but never get a response… long story short, just please try to be at least somewhat/mostly active?
-Literate? I don't mind the occasional typo. We all do it. But please, try to have a couple sentences, or even just one really good sentence, and generally try to make yourself understandable.
-Be respectful, please. As much as I love a good argument with stupid people, I don't generally have the motivation to argue online too. Try to be easy to deal with for the most part, yeah?
-Swearing is allowed! Use any swear words you feel like (excluding racial slurs. I feel like that's a good place to draw the line), just like, not every other word just because that's not very… interesting?
-Romance! I love fluff and angst, and I'm able to write smut too. Smut is absolutely not a requirement, and maybe not even likely depending on how our pairing ends up working. I'm open for anything.
-When speaking out of character, please use (brackets) to lessen confusion
-If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask! I'm more than happy to help work out any plot stalls or general confusion!

Appearance: Gemini has curly auburn hair cut at her chin, sparkling blue eyes, and porcelain colored skin with freckles, mostly on her nose and cheeks, but sprinkled all over. She's very petite, only 5'1'' and 100 lbs, which makes it difficult to be intimidating. She also has a scar over her left eye from when someone tried to murder her (Gemini's is an interesting sort of place), nd a bunch of scars elsewhere, mostly unintentional, because just everything tries to kill her, especially squirrels, also she likes to sit on the roof and is just… not careful at all.
Personality: Think Peter Parker, but… yeah, no, she's a LOT like Peter Parker. But pretty insecure. Pretty open, complimenting anyone she thinks deserves to be complimented. Also super trusting. She's pretty bad at sensing lies. She's really smart, but also way too trusting, emotional, and doesn't have a lot of confidence.
Backstory: Her dad died when she was 5, and her mom kind of went insane and tried to kill her. She's in jail now. So, she lives with her Aunt Ali (Alice). And yeah. That's that. She was originally a superhero, but I don't think that's what we're going for, here, so I don't need to explain the rest of that. Just… everyone she loves dies, but she still trusts every time that happens that it won't happen to the next person.

Appearance: In full human form, Kono is tall (around six feet) and lithe. He has very dark ginger hair with black streaks, and golden eyes. He has shimmering golden freckles and generally wears a black suit without a tie. In full dragon form, he has dark reddish black scales matching his human hair, and his belly scales are a shimmery gold color. His eyes stay the same. As a dragon, he is about the size of a large shed or very small house, and a little longer than a school bus. He has four legs and wings with golden accents. He can also half shift to where he has a mostly human form with horns, wings, and a tail. In a half shifted form, he also has sharper, larger teeth.
Personality: Kono is standoffish and incredibly protective over his treasure. He doesn't generally take kindly to strangers, but he does admire bravery and determination from humans, especially those attempting to fight him without magic. He doesn't generally kill humans unless they actually try to kill him, usually just throwing them out of the cave after hurting them badly enough that they don't return. He's quite proud, and insulting him will likely earn you a nasty burn or, in the worst case, losing your life. He has a regal air and commands authority and respect.
Backstory: Kono was born to a mage mother, who died upon his birth due to his size, and a dragon shifter father. His father stuck around long enough to teach him that he was to protect the treasure with his life before leaving him when Kono was about five. This is why Kono is very distrustful and independent, and doesn't like accepting help. Despite his lingering resentment for his father, he has remained to protect the treasure ever since.
Other: Secretly has very soft hair that he likes to be touched. He also (still secretly) likes to have his horns stroked, but most wouldn't get close enough to try before he fended them off. Not to mention, you don't try to pet the dragon when you're trying to take his treasure.
