Okay so, plot, tbh I felt like (as much as cute romance is great) we didn't have too much of a threat going on, and considering their supernatural begins in human society, I feel like there should be more of a larger threat against them both (or maybe Nathaniel more so considering he's an angel), that they have to team up against and obvs fall in love along the way. Thoughts?

@Fraust

Works for me! I know we sort of mentioned that there was a threat to angels but didn't really dive into it too much

@ElderGod-Carrots

Yeah I think we should get into it a bit more - Maybe Ajax and his gang were already trying to figure out why and how his threat was coming to earth and then Ajax meets Nathaniel and you know, is all wtf okay - Ajax says he’ll look out for Nathaniel if he helps eliminate the threat with him or sum

@Fraust

Nathaniel's like "Yeah I know how to fight so I guess that's fine" hates fighting but can't risk this random guy knowing about his secret and not being on his side

@ElderGod-Carrots

Lmao yes, maybe there could be like another realm or dimension with magical beings, just so we have room to play with the magic without fear of humans i guess lol we don’t have to do that though

@ElderGod-Carrots

I think keeping the ‘i’m v injured pls help’ is the best way, just bc i love drama.

i’m thinking maybe plot wise just so we have a bit of an idea, nathan helps ajax, it’s revealed what ajax is trying to find out and accomplish and that’s the reason for his injuries. maybe nathan gets a little 0.0 at that idea and doesn’t want him hanging around too much but they end up together again a couple days later - maybe nathan gets in trouble an ajax saves him? - and nathan explains about the big bad that’s after the angels, they both kinda talk about it, agree to help one another and we go from there? ofc that’s just an idea we don’t have to lol, but yeah

@Fraust

Ooh yeah, I could see Nathaniel running into some of Ajax's enemies
Especially if they saw Ajax going to Nathaniel's house that night and thought he might have information

@Fraust

Yeah lol
Nathaniel would also probably be more comfortable staying near Ajax at first if only bc he doesn't really trust him not to tell his secret at first

(of course! here's le starterrr)

Ajax wasn't a stranger when it came to wounds and injuries. He was in enough fights to have a new scar every other day at this point. He was lucky enough that for most injuries he was able to heal quicker than the average person, an ability, among a few others, that had saved his life on numerous occasions. Luck, as they said. But it seemed today that his luck had finally run out.

Ajax Veron, the current leader of the underground group most called the Reapers, was one of the most feared men in the city. At least, to those who knew of him. Most of the people he passed in public would not look twice, but those certain few who knew him took great care in avoiding him to begin with. There weren't many groups or gangs around, mainly because Ajax took liberty in taking care of most of the city, but that didn't stop the underground criminals, supernatural begins and any other idiots from causing trouble, and most of the time, it was Ajax and is men who dealt with them, usually in less than pretty ways.

It had been months since Ajax first got wind of some strange threat against the supernatural begins that lived in the city. Most kept hidden and out of the way but in recent months something, or someone, was targeting them, the angels, especially. Ajax was trying to deal with it, and it was how he ended up with a major stab wound in his side and a bullet in his leg this particular Saturday night. He'd gotten a tip from an unknown source about a meeting or gathering of people who they believed to be involved, but he'd been ambushed and lost a few good men in the process. He was lucky enough to get away alive, but that was as far as his luck went.

There was no way he'd make it back home alive. Not with the amount of blood covering his clothes and hand and the pavement as he practically dragged his way out of the mess of bodies left behind by the fighting. It was how he ended up on the door step of a random house, leaning against the door with little fight left in him, and knocking, hoping he wouldn't scare away whoever lived inside.
