Fleur was immediately grateful for Aster slightly slowing down her words. It was easier for the Frenchgirl to pick up specific words and piece a sentence together, which then made it easier to respond once she figured out what Aster had said to her.

"Oh, that was no problem at all," Fleur insisted. "Women should be supporting other women, oui? We lift each other up, not bring each other down."

And she giggled at the girl's reaction to her kisses. "Sorry. I am used to doing that with my friends," she apologized with a shy smile. "I didn't mean to make you embarrassed."

Fleur perked up as her name was called. It was the same barista who'd mentioned her sunglasses. She grinned and waved, and he waved back. Fleur took her cup and blinked quickly as she noticed an odd number written in black marker on the otherwise white cup.

Too embarrassed to ask the barista what the number meant, Fleur turned to Aster. "Oh, yes!" she said, barely noticing the other girl's awkwardness with ending their conversation. "I wish you the best of luck with… whatever it is you are doing." She grinned. "It was nice to meet you too! Perhaps we will!"

Then, she took a small step closer and pointed to the number with parenthesis and dashes in it. "Um… what is this?" she murmured quietly.

"Right…" Aster said hesitantly. Women helping other women… The thought of having to turn Fleur in was starting to make her uncomfortable, maybe she should have just gone for one of the others ones- the one that sounded like a male name. Maybe he would have put up a fight, but that would have been better than feeling guilty about taking this girl.
"Uh, it's no problem" Aster waved her away when she apologized, not really minding it, she just wasn't used to it. Though the word 'friend' made her squirm a little, Aster was no friend, she was a stranger, so why be nice to her? After all, she could be a serial killer in disguise. Aster mentally snorted at that. She was no Jake, but it was starting to seem like she was a little worse than him.

"Thanks, it was nice meeting you too," Aster said casually at the best-of-luck comment and at the mention of their next encounter, then looked at the cup when Fleur pointed at the numbers with dashes. If Aster had to take a guess, it was probably the date.
"The date?" Aster asked, arching an eyebrow, only to be interrupted when her order was called next. She promptly went over and grabbed it, looking back at Fleur.
Well…she had tried. Not hard enough though. So what? She'd ditch the friendly approach and just break into her house and take her, how hard could that be? Really hard. I mean, Aster was hard to pin down, maybe she wasn't giving the girl enough credit, everyone could do damage in their own way.

"I'll see you later," Aster said, not bothering to hide the fact that she would indeed be seeing her later. No one really paid attention much to words and how they were said, so Aster talked as she pleased.

Fleur pursed her lips and studied the number. "Oh. That is not how we write the date in France," she remarked with a casual, full-bodied shrug. The motion was very Parisian.

She lifted the coffee to her lips, took a sip, and hummed happily. "Perfect," she enthused. Aster's words caught her attention again, and she grinned. "Yes, see you!" she replied, offering a final polite wave before leaving the little café behind.

Once she hit the sidewalk again, Fleur slipped her sunglasses back on her nose and strode off. She'd noticed a few days ago that there was a little, chic-looking clothing store a few blocks down from where she was now, her favorite coffee place. It took her little less than a second to decide it was where she was heading next. Maybe she'd try out 'thrifting,' like the girl Aster did.
