Demitri watched Miguel, tilting his head in curiosity. He was interesting in Demitri's eyes, but he still had yet to figure out what Ascha wanted with him.
She's losing it. I have a feeling I shouldn't trust her with this.

Miguel pondered if anyone would try to get him, he was a prince of a large kingdom and there was a large reward for whoever brought him back alive and the promise of marriage. The problem was, Miguel hated his family, they were horrible and he didn't want to go back.
Demitri sighed before he could catch himself, then cursed himself under his breath for making noise. Miguel probably heard that, so he would be forced to reveal his presence.
Miguel's eyes widened and he whipped around after hearing a sigh, "Who…whose there?". He asked nervously.
Demitri's body solidified fully, and he showed himself to the boy. "Me," he said simply, sliding his hands in his pants pockets.
Miguel stood up, staring at the other, "And who are you?" He questioned.
"Demitri, the head spy of the Nazek Empire." He spoke calmly, face black and devoid of any emotion he may have.
Miguel frowned, "S-spy?". He didn't mean to stutter but he was scared.
"That's probably the least of your worries," Demitri muttered. "Empress Ascha sent me to watch you… but I doubt her intentions are pure." He jerked his chin at Miguel. "Tell me why I shouldn't take you to her this second."
Miguel didn't know what to say, he opened his mouth to speak but had nothing to say, "I don't know…" He mumbled.
Demitri pulled his hands out of his pockets and spread them palm up, showing that he wasn't a threat. "Alright, let's try this again. I'm Demitri, a gross halfbreed that isn't even a Nazek but happens to be good at staying hidden."
Miguel nodded, "I'm Miguel…a runaway prince with a high reward and a promise of marriage." He scoffed at the marriage part and stepped off the rock.
"Ah, I'm an expert in runaway royals. I helped my best friend escape the empress's claws. Princess Cinthia?"
(gotta go)
"I've heard of her…" Miguel sighed wishing he could escape, "I suppose you're here for bad reasons?"
"I'm here to keep an eye on you," Demitri said.
Miguel nodded, "Okay. You…you aren't going to hurt me at all?"
Demitri shook his head. "That's not my job… And I have a hunch that Ascha shouldn't get her hands on you."
"I'm glad, I have enough problems with others…" Miguel sighed, "Why don't you think she should get me?"
"Because she basically ruined Cinthia," Demitri said sadly.
“Who exactly is Cinthia?” Miguel asked, quietly.
"The adoptive daughter of Empress Ascha, the war hero and now exile princess of the Nezek Empire… And my best friend."
"Oh…" Miguel muttered awkwardly, he didn't know what to do and was still a little creeped out from being watched.
Demitri leaned against a tree and looked off into the forest. "I should take my leave now. But don't expect me to forget about you."
Miguel nodded, sitting back down on his rock, "Okay. Don't expect me to still be here, by dawn I'll be on the move again."
"I'll find you," Demitri said mysteriously, then disappeared in a cloud of shadows.
Miguel cocked his head, confused as Demitri mysteriously disappeared.
Callah was instructed to keep an eye on Miguel, so she climbed up a tree and stretched out her six legs, yawning, then laying down on a branch with most of her feet and tail dangling off. She rested her head on her paws, idly watching Miguel but not really as intently as she should.
Unlike Drax, Callah was much more intelligent and intuned with emotions, and could communicate with humans with relative ease. She was like a cat-like demon with a humanoid personality.
Miguel took the bag off of his back and took out a sleeping bag and small pillow. He then set the items up on the grass and settled into it. He fell asleep quickly, emitting light snores.
Callah didn't need sleep, but she did rest her eyes. She didn't need to see to know where he was–she was connected to all the shadows around them, and they whispered in her alert ears.
