(Which ones?)

(Sweet Hibiscus Tea and Born2Run, which is the one I like more of the two because it really just hits me in a way that releases my anger at the world, especially with "you should be just as wrecked as I am, I'm pretty fucking angry that you're not")

Name: Victor Mephistopheles Frankenstein
Age: 53
Gender/Pronouns: Trans man, he/him
Orientation: Gay aromantic
Appearance: Victor has blue, blue eyes, short greying brown hair held up with cheap, plasticy smelling pomade, and very pale, sickly, ashy skin. He's fairly tall, but not phenomenally tall, and he has a good amount of upper-body strength despite his age and condition. He has more wrinkles than you could know, and his hair is more grey than brown, and he hasn't aged very gracefully.
Personality: Victor is similar to Eden in that he's a very broken person but unlike Eden, even if he can be snappish he generally isn't outright horrible to most unless he's very tired or very stressed… which he usually is, actually, so forget that. Victor can just be an asshole sometimes. He often goes into states of panic, and faints a lot when he has to stand up for too long or do anything even mildly upsetting ever. Look, Victor's a good guy who is prone to mistake making and has had a long life to make mistakes. He's no sociopath like Eden, even if he's had just as much pain, because he's tried to keep his hope in the world despite everything. He's a bit of a cranky old man and he's a bit useless emotionally but he tries. Victor gets a "you tried" sticker. Okay fine I'll make him a bit of an asshole. SO, Victor is very selfish and has a big ego that if you try and threaten, he will hate you for it.
Skills: SCIENCE and medicine, as well as being very tolerant for most forms of bullshit.
Hobbies: Just building some whole ass robots my dude. He likes big bots and he cannot lie.
Backstory: Victor grew up on Pluto, and Pluto has a reputation for being the fucked up medicine planet. Three major families live there, and they each own big pharmaceutical companies. The two important ones in this story are the Clervals and the Frankensteins. Henry Clerval was Victor's childhood platonic crush, but he was expected to marry his adopted sister Elizabeth, whom they had found in an orphanage off-world and picked up like moms buying a hamster for their children. Needless to say, Victor was not pleased about this, he yearned in the direction of Henry and vice versa. In his teenage years he started to get more interested in medicine, the human body, and how to bring life to the dead. His father made a bet with him that if he found a way to revive the dead, Victor could own the company, which is why Victor never told him until the day he left to chase after his creature. But that won't happen for a while now. On the day of his wedding to Elizabeth on her 18th birthday, Henry crashed the wedding and objected to their union, confessing a love the man unlike a romance per se, but one that required unionship in order to thrive. After some discussion, they decided that Victor could marry Henry to save face, but Elizabeth would have to have their child because, if you have not noticed yet, Victor has a creepy dad. Victor agreed that this would happen on the day he inherited the company, and his father, too ensnarled in greed to give it up until his death, begrudgingly agreed. Victor went off to a proper college and left Henry for a time, and during that time made Eden, only for Henry to come back and alert Victor that Victor's brother William had been murdered… and their house servant, Justine, had committed the crime. Victor disbelieved this strongly, but the proof was undeniable. Their were no traces of living DNA on William's locket but Justine's (hint hint cough cough-) and she had been seen close to the scene of the crime when William had been murdered. Anyways, Justine fuckin' died, and that was when Eden finally decided to approach Victor and demand he create them a partner, effectively a sibling, to accompany them into an exile of their own doing. Someone who would understand, and would accept them. Victor said no at first, but when Eden held Henry at gunpoint and then took him hostage, Victor agreed. Henry was returned, with both his eyes removed and his tongue mangled, and Victor eventually scrapped the entire project as a sort of petty but justified revenge. This did not go well, Henry was murdered and then Elizabeth, and his father died of grief shortly after. Victor passed the pharma company off to his brother Ernest before going to run off after the creature and fight in a duel to the death where he knew he'd probably perish. Victor didn't care. Anyways, they made a truce and were picked up by a passing smuggler/ex-Military General by the name of Robert Walton, who kindly took the two to Soul and left them to force their own life after recording their stories as a gift for his sister. Siblings, am I right? Anyways… moral of the story is don't be an asshole to your dad/creator, it should be that simple my god.
Other: Victor has a combination of sickle cell anemia and POTS, as well as a teensy bit of PTSD and a few other mental disorders that make living just slightly impossible. Honestly give this man a hug my god.

(Victor protection squad too now, anyone? I'm sorry I just had to make him a sympathetic asshole I'm so sorry I ruined the curmudgeony asshole character he was for… this. Sorry guys I failed you I kin Victor now because reasons so I have to make him an okay person now ahhh-)

(Yeah… he did abandon his child for being ugly but also his child mutilated his husband and his legs, murdered his entire social circle, and manipulated and gaslighted him for years before giving up because, and I kid you not, they got bored of it. That's Eden's only reason for not totally being an asshole to Victor anymore.)

(Yeah idk I just wanted to lean into the "villain angle" a little more with Eden so we can slowly turn them to the side of good… or they just betray the whole group for Moriarty, lol, either works.)

Deleted user

(Yeah like I can just see them almost turning good but then immediately dropping all'a dat for the sake of self preservation only.)

(Oh update: Penelope Scott song for my Vic, American Healthcare (Glitzy) fits his vibes really well lmao.)

Deleted user

(Oh you should, Penelope has such good music and it is indeed a vibe)

Deleted user

(But yes Eden being a little shit is my vibes. I don't know why it just is.)

@GoodThingGoing group

(Anyways projection onto Victor Frankenstein was definitely a sign of my deteriorating mental health back in 8th grade lmao and that protectiveness definitely bleeds into my characterization of him both in this and my kinda sorta retelling so uh suffice to say I relate to you making him less of a dick aha)

(Ye indeed. Anyways, when Icefire is on we start right?)

(On an unrelated note, would it be helpful to have, like, a brainstorming PM with everyone in here or something so we don't clog up this chat with discussions and such?)
