She nodded walking slowly to the garden in the back of the house. “This is my garden. I always come here to relax. So, if you ever feel stressed come here and I will gladly have a talk with you over tea.” She took a deep breath, the sent of flowers filling her nose.
Ira looked around, feeling the beauty of it. "Yes ma'am, thank you." She said starting to wander off into the garden.
“Don’t go to far my child!” He smiled sitting down on the deck.
"Of course, just yell if you need me." She called back brushing her hand over the plants.
Raven finally finished all the food and set the table. He went to the garden and said, “ おばあちゃん、食べ物が出されます… Ira’s here too. How come you let in your garden, but you never let me!”
Ira looked up at him and smiled. She waved and skipped over to him, feeling in a kidish mood. "Hey honey!"
“Hey beautiful, do like the garden?” She chuckled with the softest eyes.
She smiled and kissed Raven. "It's gorgeous!" She chirped.
“I’m glad you like it. Dinner is ready. Wanna come back here after?” Raven helped grandmother up before pulling Ira close. “Such a child,” he chuckled.
She smiled sliding her arm around his waist. "Of course, if you're up for it." She hummed.
“You know I am,” Raven got to the kitchen while he kept and eye on grandmother. He sat down at the table. “Alright, dig in!”
Ira sat beside him and ate slowly. "This is delicious." She hummed in between bites.
“Why thank you,” Raven grinned before eating his food. “No seconds tonight. I didn’t make that much.” They whined before starting to eat.
Ira finished her food and sat back in her chair. "Tomorrow I can help." She offered putting a hand on his arm.
“I’ll have to teach you then,” Raven nodded, finishing her food. “Ira and I are going to the garden,” he stood up and took Ira’s hands.
She stood as well and waved before following behind him with a giddy smile. "You're family is sweet."
“Yeah, guess what?” He looked out to the garden.
Ira hummed in a questioning manner, laying her head on him. "What?"
“Not all of them are here yet,” he laughed. “This is only a quarter. I also think that all of them will be out tonight. So…you can be as loud as you want.”
She bit her lip and flushed. "Babe, don't say things like that." She whispered digging her face into his arm.
“Why?” Raven tilted his head with a smirk.
"I don't want your mom hearing us! She'd probably kill me." She mumbled hugging his waist.
“Fine, fine,” he mumbled with a big smile on his face. “I’m glad we did this,” he leaned his head on Ira’s. “Look, a Meteor shower.”
She looked up and her eyes were filled with a curious wonder. "I've never seen one of these before…" She said breathless taking his hand in hers'.
“Pretty right. Make a wish,” he pointed to them.
She shut her eyes and tilted her head to the sky. "Can I say it aloud?"
“If you want to,” he chuckled, kissing her cheek.
"I wish, for a happy married life with my amazingly lovely husband, and maybe our kids in the future." She said softly looking at him.
“What she said stars!” He chuckled yelled at the sky.
Ira smile and squeezed his hand. "Let's just hope for the best on the kids…" she mumbled.
