A woman has been going out with guy after guy, but it never seems to work out. Actually, she's been going out with the same guy over and over again – a shapeshifter who has completely fallen for her. And he's determined to get it right this time.

Deleted user

I don't think I've been in a o/o with you, and this seems to be an interesting idea, so…May I?

Deleted user

It's fine! I could be the shapeshifter-guy!
Do we have a temp?

Deleted user

Yes, hold on.

So…I have to post a template for every new guy I turn into? Fun. (No really I like the idea, I just need to make TONS of guy characters…when I'm used to playing a girl.)

Deleted user

So do I do the first one first, and then when I change I do the second template?

Deleted user

Okay, let me get my dude prepared…
What age range are we looking at?

Deleted user

Name: Dylan Anders
Age: 21
Gender: Male (Duh… Why is this even here if I'm going to stay a guy..?)
Appearance: He has dirty blond hair, is 5'6.5," and has a childish look to him. He usually wears bright clothes, and he's thinner than he is muscular
Personality: He's mostly giddy and cheerful, always having a smile on his face. He's very creative and is very messy, almost always having a food stain on normal clothes.
Likes: Art/Drawing, Dancing, Food, Writing,
Dislikes: Unsettling topics, Negative anything
Other: He is often, in this appearance, called a child because of his pure innocence (or him acting to be innocent * cough * *cough *). He's fine with being mature and all, he just doesn't like negative things/topics/(you get the idea).

Dislikes: Her job, stress, cold weather

I'm ready if you are! (Which also leads to the question of who's posting the starter?)

Deleted user

(I'm ready, and I will post the starter. Sorry I haven't been on a lot, I've been super busy this weekend.)

"Another date?" Alexis asked in shock.
"Yes," Karie replied, holding a pretty blouse up to her slim form. "He's nice!"
"That's what you said about the last one. And the one before that. And the one before–"
"Fine, I get it," Karie interrupted before Alexis could go on all night.
"I'm just saying," Alexis said, pushing off of the bed to stand up and walk over to her friend. "I'm worried about you, Karie. You go on all these dates, and you'll get so into a guy beforehand, and he'll just…"
Karie pressed her lips together. "(NAME OF YOUR CHARACTER THAT YOU SHAPSHIFT INTO) won't be like that," she assured her, lowering the top. "Since when have I gone on a date with a guy and he–"
It was Alexis' turn to interrupt. "Two nights ago. I don't even need to hear your question. Every date is the same with you! You get all dolled up and go out to diner with a guy you met… somewhere, and you come back saying that he's, and I quote," she made quotes with her fingers, "'Not my type.' I mean seriously, Karie, when are you going to find the right guy?" Alexis's expression broke into a playful grin. "Don't make me double date with you."
"Oh, hush!" Karie ordered with a smile. "When I find the right guy I'll know it." She held up a different top. "This date is going to be different, Alexis. I can feel it."
"Yeah, right." Alexis rolled her eyes jokingly. "Tell me how that goes, I thought you hated feeling feelings."
Karie shook her head. "Stop teasing me will you, and tell me which top you like?"

Deleted user

Okay, you can do this. C'mon Dylan, just make sure you can pull it off this time. You really like her, you just gotta make her like you back, Dylan thought, adjusting his suit which made his neck itch. You got this. He went to the diner where he was to meet her. It was a homey place, nothing too fancy, with some kids here and there (Kind of like Steak 'n Shake).

Finally, Karie was ready to leave. "I think I have everything I need… Alright! Wish me luck," she told Alexis.
"Yeah, I will. You're gonna need it!" Alexis poked her side, which was slightly exposed with the top she'd picked.
"Hey…" Karie arched away from her.
Alexis giggled, pushing Karie towards the door. "Get going. Have fun, Kar!"
Karie stuck out her tongue and left. She opened the door of her car, slid in, and put both of her hands at the top of the steering wheel. "Dear God… please let this one work out," she whispered before turning the key in the ignition and driving away.
Sooner rather than later, Karie pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant she was supposed to meet (YOUR CHARACTER) at. She checked the time: 6:15. She was slightly late. Crap. Every step she took towards the restaurant, her heart began to race faster and faster.

(Crap, uh, hold on…
Name: Samuel Griffins
Appearance: He's relatively tall and skinny, with light brown hair and a freckle line right under his eyes. His eyes almost always seem to be happy, and he's seen usually in a white T-shirt and jeans.
Personality: He's polite, but kind of shy. He stutters whenever he's nervous or scared, but he's nice at heart.
Is that enough, or should I add more?)
Samuel didn't pay attention to the impatience nagging at him, and he ordered a drink. It was just iced water, and when it arrived, he didn't do so much as sip it occasionally.

Deleted user

(No, that's perfect!)

Karie entered the restaurant and looked around.
"May I help you?" the seating hostess asked kindly.
"Oh, yes. I have a reservation," Karie replied.

Samuel looked in Karie's direction, and he forced himself to stay in the booth he was in to make sure he wouldn't bail. He toyed with his straw in his drink to calm himself down.

After a minute, the woman pointed Karie towards Samuel. Karie said her thanks and walked over to him. "Samuel?" she asked, her eyes observing him. A warm smile highlighted her face.

Deleted user

"Uh, yeah! And you must be Karie, then." Samuel rubs the back of his neck nervously, and gestures for her to sit down, across from him.

Deleted user

"The one and only," she remarked, taking a seat. "Well, that's probably not true, but it sounds cool."
