Should I be doing this? No. Absolutely not. Do I have a bunch of ideas? You can bet your ass I do.

~Disclaimer~
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT FOR YOUNGLINGS (tbh none of my rps are) Themes such as: Suicide, Abuse (mentally, physically, etc etc), Death, Blood, Gore, so on so forth. Just overall it's like- a lot and I'd rather not upset someone. This will most likely have sexual themes (this of course will be taken to DM's to respect andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s Rules) as well as I would be aware of that. SO.

~General Premise~

Sooooo I have a character that I want to work on. As usual, it's magical time and I just really want to show him some love. SO, here we are. I was thinking kind of a strange situation, but like- I've been wanting to practice an arranged marriage/I choose you type of love story because I'm a sucker for it.

~General Rules~

  • Moderately long responses please! I prefer detailed answers. If your response takes you a few days, that's fine. I like detailed, long replies. They don't have to be perfect, but I do like longer responses, it feels like there's more to develop and whatnot.

  • On that note, I would like to point out that I prioritize willingness to learn, so as long as you have well thought out answers and not something like "She sniffled." As your response, we should be okay. Sometimes writing block hits, sometimes we don't know where to continue, and that's okay.

  • Literature, preferably experienced. I won't hold it to anyone if their grammar isn't perfect. But I would like the responses to make sense, and I would like someone who flows well with my writing style. That being said, If I deny your rp style it is nothing against you. I hope that is understandable.

  • LGBTQIA+ is always, and will always be welcome. Your character can be anywhere on the spectrum. Any sexuality, any gender, etc. This is a safe place. In fact I'd rather the rp be queer lmao.

  • This roleplay is MATURE. Anything explicit will be moved to DM's or a Fade to Black situation to respect andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules. Relationships in this story are totally fine (I'm actually kind of aching for a romance ngl).

  • There will be triggering topics (as I have listed above, and there will be more) Violence, death, questionable choices, threatening situations, blood, gore, so on so forth, will be present. Please for the love of god, tell me your triggers so that we can avoid those moments. I will either give a heads up if something is mentioned OR we can completely skip over those moments. This is supposed to be enjoyable for the both of us.

  • Swearing? I don't give a fuck. Just don't use slurs. I will no longer reply, or roleplay with you.

  • Your character can be an asshole, but you cannot be an asshole. Be a decent human being please.

I have a few ideas, I just know that I want some fantasy, in a situation where neither character likes what's happening, and it turns to a enemies, friends, lovers type of trope with extra angst and general chaos

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Lyanna Lanova knew two things with absolute certainty. One, she was absolutely beautiful and anyone would be lucky to be with her. The hair, the eyes, the body, she was stunning. She knew it and men certainly knew it as well, with how much they pined over her. Though she only let them get close enough to feel the kiss of her blade. The second thing was that her master Eleric was absolutely insane. He had to be with what he was suggesting. She didn't even know why he had agreed to such a contract. They always left the palace alone. The few lords that were targeted never had enough strong hold in the palace. As long as they left the king and his men alone, the assassins guild was left relatively alone. Or as much alone as it could get. And yet Eleric had accepted a contract to kill Duke Karrington, the King's right-hand man and most loyal supporter. She couldn't understand how, even after seeing the sum of money that was being offered for such a thing. She didn't even know who had that sort of money that wasn't the royals themselves.

"No," she said flatly. "Not a chance in hell. You know very well as I do why we don't go to the palace." No one ever returned from their trips to the palace. Everyone was always caught one way or another. And if you were caught, you better pray for a swift death, which none ever received.

She was sitting across from him, ankle over her knee and arms crossed. His office was rather simple for the King of Assassins. He was rich beyond belief, and yet still kept her indebted to him. All this wealth and yet his office was simple. There was a great oak desk with three chairs. One opposite her, for Eleric, and two on her side, one of which she occupied. There was a small bookshelf to her left against the wall and on the right was a sofa and a loveseat. There were few decorations, just a few trinkets he had picked up on his journeys.

"And there is no one else I trust to do this than you." He was leaning forward, arms braced on the oak desk. She would consider him an attractive man had he not forced her to be tied to him, nor brutalized her in the way he did. It was to make her the best, or so he claimed. "I won't even take my cut of the contract, Lyanna. Think about what the money could do."

It was enough money for her to pay off over half her debt and still keep a small portion for herself. The money was…enticing. And she needed it. Wanted to be free of him. At least in this regard. He still owned her. She would always be a part of the guild. And she knew he one day planned to pass the crown to her. Queen of the Assassins did have a nice ring to it.

She gripped the arms of the chair, fingers drumming. The anonymous contractor had given her three months to kill the duke. She was surprised at why it was so much time until she had been told there was information they had wanted gathered against him. What she was supposed to look for, she had no idea. Just that they wanted anything and everything recorded that he did, and then to kill him once the three months were up. Or sooner, depending on what information was discovered.

The first problem she would encounter would be getting into the palace. The Duke left the palace even less than the king, and that was saying something. The king rarely ever left. There was no way for her to stalk and properly kill him without first getting in. And there were a number of problems that could occur getting in, and not just because of her identity. Her jaw clenched and she looked out the window. The curtains had been pulled back and allowed her to look onto the streets of the upper district. The guild resided in one of the nicer homes of the upper district. It had to house so many people. There were over a dozen assassins who lived here.

"I'll have your answer for you same time tomorrow," she finally spoke. She turned her head back to Eleric, his face unyielding. He was in his late thirties and yet hardly looked a day over thirty-five. She wasn't sure how he did it but she planned to learn his secret one day on how to look so young. His brown hair had been pulled back by a leather tie at the nape of his neck. His features were strong and his eyes were amber.

"You have until dawn." And that was that. A dismissal if she ever heard one. She rose from her chair and stalked out of the room, trying to hold back her glare until she had turned her back to him. He knew anyways and told her as much. She stalked to her room and did not come out until morning. No, she had much to plan for.

Right as the sun began to peak, she was in his office. "I accept." A decision that might very well get her killed, or get her one step further to freedom. A risk she was willing to take. Not but an hour later, her nice things were packed and she was dressed in a pale blue gown with a modest neckline, much to her dismay. The sleeve capped at her wrist. The fabric was embroidered with gold thread. It was absolutely stunning. She was stunning. Her hair had been coiled and pinned half up.

And then she was off to the palace to pose as Lady Lillian Carver, youngest daughter of Lord Carver, and newest lady-in-waiting for the queen.

Full Name: King Kaillas Einar of Vaeril
Name Meaning: one who bestows peace
Nicknames/Alias: n/a
Gender: Male, he/him
Sexuality: bisexual
Age: twenty-six
Birthday: August 12th
Species: Fae
Occupation: King
General Appearance: Kaillas is a tall man, standing at about 6'2. He has a muscular body from years of training. His body is littered with scars from his time in battle. He has thick, black hair and hazel eyes. He has strong facial features and his nose is slightly crooked from being broken one too many times.
Defining Features: kaillas has a scar on his face. It starts at his temple, just narrowly missing his eye, downnhis cheek and stopping just short of his lips. It's old enough that the skin has faded away from that pale pink to a shade just darker than his own skin. The scar is indented where the blade had cut through his skin.
Personality: Kaillas is known as a warrior king. His father made him a squire at the young age of eight, introducing him to the world of battle and soldiering. Growing up in such an environment certainly changed the outlook he has in life. Being a warrior influences every decision he makes. He's not afraid to make the hard choices. He is not a cruel king but he is not kind either. He doesn't listen and soothe the woes of his people. He faces the decisions head-on. He's not quiet, he's reserved. He doesn't make speeches or deal with pretty words. He's a man of action, always had been, always would be.
History: Kaillas was never supposed to be king. He had two older brothers which should have moved him far down the line of succession after they had married and had children. His father should have ruled for at least another thirty years before passing. But one instance took them all away from him. See, Kaillas had been away from the palace. Having become a squire, he left home with the knight he was tending to him and joined him in battle. It was where he was taught how to fight, how to be a soldier himself. He was taught the way of the sword and his fists and an array of other weapons. It was where he engaged in combat for the first time at the age of fourteen. He had puked when he took his first life. And second. And two years later, when he was stationed along the border, he would get the worst news of his life. A fire had taken his family. It was no ordinary fire. Someone had deliberately set it and locked his parents and brothers into their rooms. The only ones spared were his two youngest sisters who neither hadn't reached double digits yet. And in an instant, Kaillas went from never being close to the throne to being coronated within a week's time. With the help of his advisors, he learned how to rule but he'll never enjoy it. This was never meant for him. He was never supposed to wear the crown and sit on the throne. But fate was cruel and harsh and this was what he was left with.
