"Prove to me you can do it and then we can discuss your price." Elowen knew never to agree on the first thing put on the table. Everyone always asked for the highest price, which she had learned how to lower it. "I don't give anything without testing what I'm buying."
Her eyes wandered once more, traveling along his body. It was wrong to mix business with pleasure but she didn't like to be right. She was wrong and left and everything wrong with the world. She knew it. She embraced it. She wasn't good, she wasn't right. She didn't want to be.

"My price isn't even that high, you know. It's simple. You give me your name, and I kill the king. There's no extra twists. Yet, at least. I can't speak for later." Ren purrs, reaching up and stretching, his entire body flexing for a moment before relaxing again.

"Plus, you aren't exactly buying me. You're just paying for a good, right?" he adds.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

"Yes, but I want only the best goods. I want to make sure it isn't damaged." Elowen's lips turned up as she purred.
"Elle. My name is Elle." Not an entire lie, a half truth. Her very few friends referred to her as Elle. Something only they could refer to her as. Her face concealed any indication of said lie. "Now it's your turn. Tell me your name."

Deleted user

"I am the best of the best, and as undamaged as they come. At least, physically." Ren chuckles.

"Elle, huh?" he replies, examining her soul as she says this. Not entirely a truth, definitely not a full lie.

"My name is Ren Îmlin." he smiles, bowing smoothly and deeply.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen hummed softly in response. "Where are you from, love? Certainly not here and not anywhere nearby either, it seems."
Everyone knew who she was. The neighboring kingdoms, the lands off the coast. She had been dragged to plenty of parties and negotiations to be well known. He had to have been from the other side of the world to be ignorant to her identity.

"Have you seen my horns? Do I even look like I'm from this realm?" Ren smiles, indicating said horns.

"As a matter of fact-" he indicates the rest of his flawless body. "-does this look like the figure of someone from this realm? Taking both of those factors into account, plus the fact that I can do this-" he summons a fist sized raw black diamond. "-where do you think I'm from?"

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen looked at the black diamond. Despite the warning sirens, she leaned forward to touch the raw gem in his hand.
"Why are you here, then? What business do you have here, in my kingdom? I do not take likely to strange men coming to my home. If you think to overthrow me, you have something else coming for you."
She shifted her attention from the gem to the man in front of her.

"I'm here for entertainment, of sorts. As for my business here, that's for me to know and you to try and find out. As for overthrowing you, I have no reason to until someone gives me a better offer." Ren chuckles, closing his hand around the diamond. When he opens his hand again, the diamond is gone.

"Anyways, I'd like to offer my services to you. Help you achieve your goals - for a price, of course. It must be something more than riches. I have plenty of those."

(XD did this one die because of absence or lack of motivation-?)

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ellowen leaned back in her seat, studying him. She had no magic herself and thus naturally cautious of it. And this man in front of her had a great wealth of power, it was obvious in the way he carried himself. She needed to be careful how she went around this. If she wasn't, she might find herself at the end of his sword instead. She wasn't intending on dying yet. There was do much left in the world she wanted to do and had yet to accomplish. She would live to see it all through if it was the last thing she ever did. It likely would be.

"You have riches and so do I. It seems neither of us want for anything, we have it at our fingertips." She was trying borrow time now, to think of something. She coukd offer her body in payment but she wasn't a cheap where. She fucked because she wanted to, not because she owed someone. And if anyone thought she owed them her body, well, she would cut off their cock. "What about secrets? You can never have too many. Secrets come in handy."

Deleted user

Ren smiles. "You're a smart one."

He stands and stretches out his hand for Ellowen to shake. "So what says you? Exchanges of secrets for my ongoing help in your endeavours? Sounds enchanting, does it not?"

He tugged on her blackened soul just slightly, disguising his voice as her own as he whispers reasons why this would be beneficial for her. For the both of them.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen looked down at his outstretched hand. She was curious and cautious. A dangerous mix. Which one would win?

"I prefer absolutes but I'll bite." She placed her hand in his and then it was done. Clearly, curiosity had won. It was dangerous, employing someone else to do ger dirty work when she was clearly capable. But she wanted her hands free of this and to dirty someone else. As long as it ended with a crown in her head, she would be satisfied.

With his hand in her, her grip suddenly tightened and she leaned in. "Don't even think about screwing me over. It won't end well for you." Her smile was opposite of the words coming out of her mouth. She released his hands and sat back.

Ren grins. No sparkles or anything result from the handshake, but a sense of foreboding echoes through the room, like the final tolls of the clock striking midnight. "Well, I'm glad to hear that."

He smirks when Elowen tries to pull away after her words. "I'm a lust demon, sweetheart. We love screwing over people. But I can say that I'm true to my word."

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen hummed, watching him, observing. Her eyes looked him down and back up again slowly. There was a smirk in her face. "I think we're going to get along just fine."

She waved over a barmaid, holding a few coins. "I'll take a room for the night, whatever you have on your top floor." Top floor meant she had time to escape if need be. Top floor meant she coukd hear then coming and jump out the window. Broken bones were better than being dead.

Deleted user

"I think so too. Elle." Ren replies. The way he said that single syllable turned it into a promise of dark things. He has a playful smirk on his face now.

He flicks the bartender a single flat piece of blue diamond, about 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches in thickness, clearly 24 carats - meaning it was probably worth more than Elle was - to the bartender. "I'll take the room next to hers, of course."

He didn't care that he'd probably just bought the entire village.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen looked at the diamond in his hand. A generous offer. Probably more than the town deserved. She didn't let any of it show on her face. A smooth, sensual smirk appeared on her lips.

"I was going to suggest the room for both of us, but, if you'd prefer not to, that's fine as well." Mixing business with pleasure was a dangerous thing but it was a good thing she liked a bit of danger.

Ren chuckles darkly and stares Elowen down.

"I know what your intentions are. I just need a place for my clothing, do I not?" he says cheekily.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen tilted her head. "Are you suggesting I'll have too many things that you won't be able to fit yours?" Contrary, in fact, she had very little things with her. She had the clothes on her back, strapped ti the teeth in weapons, and a bag with a few essentials.

"We can fit in one love, no need to stress." She took her coin back fein the barmaid. "Since he's paying, you don't need this." He was paying far too much in her opinion but it wasn't for her to spend.

Deleted user

"Oh no, quite the opposite. I'll have too much to fit both of us in your room, plus my things. Though I'm sure we could adequately fit some other things in other places." Ren smirks.

He watches as Elowen retracts her payment and chuckles. "They don't deserve your money. Or your time. Good choice."

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Elowen caught the meaning behind his words and her smirked widened ti a grin. "I'm sure we can as well. Fine then, have your two rooms. Buy as many as you need," she cooed.

She gave the barmaid a wave of dismissal. "When my father is dead and I am queen, I think I might just keep you in my employment. Your services might come in handy at least once more. I'd like to have you on hand when that day comes."
