Me: "Uh…uh… Is that even a hint?" Abbie thought aloud, biting the inside of her cheek as she toyed with the strap of her bag.
thighhighcrocs: "It totally is, and you'll see what I mean when we get there." Eros promised, playing with her hair unconsciously.

(You're fine! It's a continuation of a roleplay I did on my other account.)
"You suck, Eros," Abbie turned to look at him accusingly, trying to keep her face straight but failing, a smile crawling its way on her face. "I don't know if I like surprises."

(Ahh I forgot to @ mention @thighighcrocs-will-be-gone-most-of-break )

@croccin-champagne

((I just woke up! I'm here!))

"You'll like this one." Eros promised with a solemn nod. Pretty soon he was smiling again, bumping Abbie's nose with his. "Shall we?"

Deleted user

(You're fine!)
"Hm, I dunno…" Abbie said in a teasing voice. "Okay!"
After a moment of thinking, Abbie spoke again, "Are we walking or driving?"

Deleted user

"My mom got me a Jeep for my twentieth birthday, and I'm alright with you driving, even though I'll insist I drive." Because you are way too selfless for your own good, Abbie. And you know it. Abbie opens the front door after brushing her hands through her hair nervously, walking outside where she'd seen the cyclops. It was hard to forget, and Abbie wasn't content on staying out in the open for long, even if the cyclops-event was an act.

@croccin-champagne

((I'm here! Trying to answer and sift through my notifs!))

Eros followed, slipping an arm around her waist comfortingly. "Hey, it's gone. Can't hurt you." He said soothingly, his grip on her protective. It was loose enough that if she wanted to step away from him, she could.

(You're fine, my dude!)

"Yeah. Don't think I'll ever forget, sadly. Even if it was real, I'm still…nervous." Abbie looked downwards before leaning into Eros.
"Thanks for…not being like pretty much everyone else."

Abbie pulled away, thinking.
"Most people see me in one of two ways. One being the sweet, kind, innocent me, and the other, just a person you can depend on to get work done. I think you see past that. I mean, not many people care to learn more about me. All they know is that I'm nice and I do people's work, no questions asked. It's annoying sometimes, but…I just live with it."

Deleted user

(I'm bumping this because I think you're on? And just reply when you can. You don't need to right away.)

@croccin-champagne

((I'm on! I woke up about an hour ago, so I'm going through the 35 notifs I had lmoa))

Eros let her move, despite really wanting to pull her tight against him. "I've been around for millennia, sweetheart. I can do my own work. I want you for you, not your willingness to let people walk over you."

"Yeah." Abbie said, uncertainly. She dug her car keys out of her jacket pocket, tossing them towards Eros once unlocking her Jeep. It was a dark red color, also sturdy-looking.
"Where to? The 'leaf' place, or somewhere where you can 'supposedly' prove that you're a Greek Mythological god?" Her tone of voice took a sarcastic tone towards the end, something that Abbie wasn't used to doing.

@croccin-champagne

"Careful." Eros said, shooting her a wink as he hopped into the driver's seat. "Or people might think you're crazy." He started up the engine, waiting for her to climb in. "Somewhere I can prove it, first. That way you don't despise me on our date."

Deleted user

"I don't despise you. I just don't believe you." Abbie said, getting in the passenger's seat. "I don't normally hate people, anyways."

@croccin-champagne

"You wouldn't like it very much if you thought I was continuously lying to you." Eros pointed out, adjusting the seat to fit his height. "So better you believe me, and see it's true, than try and date a guy you think is holding out some elaborate lie."

Deleted user

"I don't-" He's right, Abbie. But why would he try to prove himself to me?
"Fine. But know I've been lied to, and I can handle myself when I have." Abbie crossed her arms, trying not to smirk at the fact that Eros had to adjust the seat. "Ready to go, mister 'designated driver'?"

Deleted user

Love? Why is he nice? Why can't he be way more annoyi- "Of course!" Abbie beamed, trying not to feel helpless. Yes, she enjoyed Eros' company, but she felt as if she had to do something. She liked him, he seemed to like her. Why was she so hesitant?
"So, where are we headed first?" Abbie asked, putting on her seatbelt quickly.

@croccin-champagne

"Figure we'll go to this little cafe I like." Eros said, buckling and starting up the engine. "Get coffee, show you I'm not full of shit, and then we can go to the leaf place. Any other stops you need to make?"
