“see ya then” Lot noticed how at this point the conversation was down on their forearm. They put the pen down and away before going back to the jew commission they had started.
Cat drew a little smiley face under the conversation. Her short sleeved uniform showed off the entire conversation but she didn’t care. She threw away her trash and walked out of the break room. (Time skip to Sunday?)
(Sure. Do you mind starting?)
(sure)
Cat came to the library with her back pack and a black eye that had been quickly covered with makeup. She wasn't really sure if injuries showed up on Lot as well and she was really hoping they didn't. April and Jeff had texted her saying they are going to be late.
Lot arrived at the exact time they had all agreed upon. They had a messenger bag on and had a slight bit of make up covering up the touch imprint on their skin. They saw Cat and walked over, "Dumb and dumber late?"
”they said they'll come like an hour late, ” Cat said Keeping her voice low. She sat down at a table Near the computers.
Lotus let out a sigh and sat down across from Cat. They ran a hand through their hair in frustration, "Sounds like them. I figured they would skip out."
Cat shrugged. "They still have time," she said taking out her notebook and art supplies.
"Whatever you say," Lot shrugged pulling out paper and the art supplies they had picked out from around the house. It was all decent quality, at least from what Lot knew, "I will bet money that once an hour goes by they'll text you saying they'll be another hour or so late."
”you're probably right but in still going to have some hope in my friends, ” she said opening up her notebook to her notes on Artemis.
"Why are you friends with them anyway?" Lotus asked as they opened up their computer. They pulled up the google doc from yesterday and began re-opening their resources.
"They aren't that bad just a little dumb sometimes," she joked letting out a small laugh. She didn't look up from her notebook.
Lotus shrugged and started typing on the doc some different information. The first thing down was the fact Artemis was most likely Asexual and Demi-romantic, "Once again, whatever you say."
Ava nodded and stood up. "I'm going to find some books," She said walking over to the shelves about mythology.
"Okay," Lotus responded as they continued to type up more bullet points. They didn't bother to look up.
Cat came back a little while later with a pile of books. She placed them on the table. They were all about the gods a few specifically for Artemis. She smiles and opens a random book.
Lot spotted the pile of books. They quietly asked, "Mind if I read one?"
"Yeah if you want," She said. She wrote something down in her notebook. scribbling different quotes from the book.
Lot grabbed one of the books and began to comb through it grabbing other quotes and information. They threaded their hand through their hair keeping an eye on the clock as well.
An hour passed and Cat's phone vibrated. She looked at it and shook her head. "Well April said she can drop by with the board but can't stay," Cat said.
"Called it," Lotus responded not looking up from where they were typing. They couldn't do anything until the board got there.
"She'll be outside soon," Ava said. She didn't look up from her phone. When it vibrated she stood up.
Lot glanced up as Cat stood. They didn't make any motion, but gave a little nod.
Ava walked out of the library and came back with a trifold poster board. Placing it open on the table.
Lotus looked at the open board, "Great. Now we can get to work. We're not going to give them any credit right?"
Cat shrugged. “I um I’m not sure. I know this teachers really big on teamwork.” She said looking at the board.
"If they didn't do any work," Lotus said glancing at the board before grabbing one a piece of marker paper and one of Myrah's Copic markers, "then they shouldn't get any of the teamwork credit. We're the ones doing the project, not them."
Cat shrugged but then nodded. She took a marker. ”Ok I guess we could start with a Title.”
"Artemis," Lot responded as they tapped the marker on the paper trying to figure out what layout might be best, "Duh."
”Just making sure. I can write it. My handwriting sucks but in good at box letters and stuff, ” she says leaning on the table.
