On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. As the face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction until they discover the ship is in grave danger. With the lives of 5,000 sleeping passengers at stake, only the two can save them all.

I will be the male main character, so whoever wants to play the female, I'm right here, ready to go!

Name: Milo Reddick
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Taller than average, but not by so much that it was noticeable. He had a mess of light brown hair that was always unkept and uncombed, and a seemingly chronic 9 o'clock shadow. He has a long, fading scar that runs from the base of his ear and along his jawline from a freak skateboarding accident.
Personality: He's a laid back, optimistic guy who always sees the glass half full instead of half empty. He has a bit of a potty mouth, but knows when to install the filter.
Likes: Basketball and cuddling (although he'd never admit it)
Dislikes: Openly rude or sassy people
Background (Why did they decide to take the trip?): Both of his parents had died back on Earth, leaving him nothing but some money and a dog to keep him on the ground. He gave the dog a hearfelt goodbye and used the money to by a one-way ticket to Homestead II, starting his life over and making it what he wanted.
Theme song: Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz
Quote/s: "Maybe instead of looking at the lemons life gave you, sell them and buy a pack of Skittles. 'Cause Skittles are bitchin'."

Name: Anneliese Turner (Anna or 'Liese for short)
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: she has long and semi wavy brown and blonde hair that compliments her hazel eyes beautifully. She's a slender little thing and is a fairly average height for girls, maybe a tad shorter. She has longer legs and a smatter of dark freckles across her nose and cheeks, contrasting from her decently light skin.
Personality: She's a nice girl to say the least, sort of funny in her own way and always down for a night of goofing around with friends. Can be an introvert at times though most of the time she's sort of loud and seems to have no filter between her brain and mouth. Upbeat though not particularly optimistic she's a night owl and most of the time not a morning person
Likes: romantic stuff, reading, keeping in shape, music
Dislikes: being alone, always being the last person to be told anything, not doing good enough
Background (Why did they decide to take this trip?): It really just sounded like fun and she had nothing to look forward to back on Earth. Her friends had all drifted away from her and she had no siblings (She was an orphan) her parents had died a few years ago so she decided that heading into space could maybe solve a few of her problems
Theme song: The songs Shotgun and Budapest by George Ezra
Quote/s: "he looked at me like there was something worth looking at"
"Music, music is the solution to almost any problem life throws at you..music to drown out the world and two middle fingers to anyone or anything that life throws at you"
Other: she's partially ambidextrous

"Daw…..shit…." was the first words Milo said in 35 years. It was said in his sleep as the needles pulled from his body and the glass panels that kept him isolated from age released it. A new needle slipped into his neck, releasing a neurological cocktail of chemicals that woke him from his artificial death.
"Daw…shit," he repeated, rubbing the side of his neck as his eyes slowly opened.
He blinked away the tears that obscured his vision. Milo watched the glass panels lift up and away from his body, and took a deep breath as oxygen flooded into the cryochamber.
"Fuck!" was the next words, this time actually audible to the other awakening figure, as was the sound of Milo tumbling to the ground when his legs were still reforming a connection to his brain. "Why the fuck does it just dump you on to the floor?"
The floor seemed to tilt back and forth beneath him like a see-saw from hell, making it impossible to get to his hands and knees. So he just sat there, his face pressed against the cold floor as he gasped for a ir like a fish out of water.

@gracehustle

Annelise opened her eyes slowly, blinking and frowning slightly as she watched the needles pulled away from her body. "Fuck.." She groaned, her voice raspy from the lack of use. A sharp prick on the side of her neck was the only sign that another needle had pierced her neck before slipping away like the others.
Her surroundings seemed familiar and strange at the same time and she went silent, just watching the panels slip away from her. The next thing she knew she was falling forward, her hands out infront of her to catch herself, though they didn't help at all. Her elbows buckled and her face hit the floor, causing her vision to dance with stars as she gasped for breath.
She could tell that there was something or someone nearby from what sounded like a voice. "Fuck…" She groaned again, pressing her eyes back shut as she waited for strength to return to her legs and arms.

Milo began to feel his arms and legs reform that connection to his brain,twiddling his fingers to make sure he could still use them.
"Hello, fingers," he mumbled.
Then he collected a small victory, getting up onto his hands and knees and staying there. He felt like laughing from the joy it brought, but held back when he heard the other voice and another thump. He twisted his head around and realized he was in a very unflattering position, his ass pointed directly towards the person lying on the ground. Fuck it, we're both going through the works right now.
"Didya hit your head?" he asked, his words slurring slightly as his tongue rebelled against his brain.

@gracehustle

"What's it look like.." She mumbled as best she could, gasping for breath between each word and forcing her lips to form the words. Her body wasn't responding to any of the things she tried to do, from moving her arms to even lifting her head. After a while she stopped gasping and could breath normally, now focusing on trying to just get her face up from the ground.
Her eyes opened slowly again and she looked around at her surroundings, the feeling in her fingers and toes coming back.

He rolled over so that he was sitting on his ass, blinking. Milo recognized the interior of the ship that he had boarded earlier, feeling slightly creeped out by all of the faces staring back at him with open, dead eyes.
"Did I look that ceepy…?" he mumbled, then realized: They were the only two up.
"Wait…hang on….?" He looked around, feeling his body fit itself together finally.
He ventured to get to his feet, and was pleased with the result, although he hand to put a hand out on one of the cryochambers to keep him upright.

@gracehustle

Annelise wiggled her fingers and laid still for a few more minutes as she felt her muscles start to respond to her movements. Slowly she raised her head and groaned, flipping onto her back with quite a lot of effort and a few tries. "Is the journey done?" She asked weakly, hoping that the other person that was awake could hear her.
The ceiling wasn't that interesting, though it was further away from her face than the floor was so she looked up at it, avoiding the faces of the others still in their cryo chambers. It was unnaturally silently she decided. She couldn't hear anyone else's voice besides her own and the other person that was awake.

"No….no, there are people still in their chambers." His heart began beating very fast as his stomach tried to pitch out whatever liquids were still in it.
Jesus, are we alone.
"Nah, no way. Maybe there was a malfunction with the others?"

@gracehustle

"It doesn't look like it.." She mumbled, closing her eyes once again as she propped herself up on her hands. "I don't hear anyone else taking..or anyone else falling on their face." By now her muscles were responding to every signal and she raised one of her hands to infront of her face, moving her fingers about before resting her hand back on the ground so she wouldn't collapse.

He let out a groan, hanging his head. His mess of brown hair obscured most of his face as it fell over his eyes. Most people would have began panicking with the thought of staying in a ship for the rest of their life and only speaking to one person, but Milo was a much simpler person, never prone to panic.
"Well, this fucking sucks," was the only hint that something was wrong.

@gracehustle

"Are there controls somewhere? Can we check if there's something wrong and how many years we have left until we're supposed to reach wherever we're going?" She asked, forcing herself to sit up and then stumble to her feet. Anneliese sighed and ran a hand over her face, looking at the other passengers, "There's gotta be something we can do."

"I just learned how to stand up, man, I don't got a fucking clue." It came out much harsher than he meant, and he flinched slightly after he finished. "I'm sorry, this is just……stressful."
He managed to take a few steps, trying to force feeling back into his feet.

@gracehustle

She waved her hand dismissively, "It's fine, just don't call me man." Looking around at all of the other passengers she sighed again, shaking her head, "I'm going to go see if I can find something useful, or maybe any other passengers that might be awake." She leaned against the chambers and started walking away from him, running a hand through her hair.

He walked in the opposite direction, feeling eerily alone when her footsteps faded away.
"So many people….yet it's only us two." Milo mumbled to himself. "At least she's hot."
He eventually found a staircase, and after a few minutes of struggle he managed to reach the top. He was then greeted with a "Hello," that nearly made him fall right back down them.
He looked at the direction of the voice, and saw a well-dressed ban standing behind a bar, wiping down a cup. "Shit, another guy?" he asked, making his way over to the bar and sitting down.
"Ah, well, no." The man gave him a sympathetic look. "Something very close to a man, though."
Milo looked over the bar, and saw the ass-end of the android's magnetic track.
"You shouldn't be awake."
Milo blinked a few times. "Huh? How long did we sleep?"
The robot tilted his head. "It's only been 35 years. There's still another 90." It seemed to glitch out, his face clenching and unclenching in inhuman ways. "You shouldn't be awake."
Milo let out a loud groan, dropping his head on to the ba with enough force to be heard around the ship's quiet halls.
