Furi blinks open his eyes, the florescent lights blurring his vision. Once his sight is clear, he stares at the IV in his arm, then scans the room; their headache reduced to a light pounding. The Sprite groans softly as he tries to sit up, even though the top-half bed was already inclined.

(Naw don’t worry, I don’t have much knowledge on hospitals either 💀)

The doctor looks over at Furi as he wakes up. “Ah- you’re awake.” She smiles, then looks concerned as he tries to sit up. “Hey, careful. You’re in pretty bad shape right now.” She tilts her head. “You’re lucky that wolf found you and brought you to someone, you could have died.”

"What wolf…? Wha- Who the hell are you?" He narrows his eyes and tilts his head. "Why am I even-" They are interrupted by a sharp pain, causing him to slam his hand onto his forehead and squeeze his eyes shut. "Dammit…" Suddenly, the migraine fades as soon as it had appeared.

The doctor sighs. “You were in the forest, and a wolf found you unconscious and dragged you all the way to someone that could bring you here.” She furrows her brows before continuing. “We’re you in any physical fights before you were unconscious? You have some pretty bad bruising on your abdomen, and apparently you were coughing up and vomiting a lot of blood.”

"Oh…" He sighs and carefully shifts into a bearable position, "What's it to ya whether I was in a fight or not anyways?" Furi scoffs then brushes his hair to the side.

The doctor simply gives him a stern look. “I’m only asking a question, sir.” Although, his response seems to answer the question for her. “You’ll have to stay here for a while until you fully recover.”

"I'm fine… I swear." Feeling a bit fatigued, Furi rests his back on the bed. Not looking up at the doctor, they finally muster up the strength to speak, "Do you know where the wolf is now?"

The doctor shakes her head. “Not exactly, no. I’d say that it’s probably in the forest. Why do you ask?”

Furi shrugs, "I dunno… just wondering." They winced and placed a hand on their stomach as they tried to sit back up. "So… am I gonna die or something? I mean, it felt like it in the forest…"

The doctor gives Furi a sympathetic look. “No. You aren’t going to die. You just need to stay here for a while, because you’re not in great condition to be walking around.”

"Oh… damn…" He rests his back again and stares at the window on the left wall and sighs. His restless self couldn't stand the confinement in the hospital, but he couldn't do much about it anyway.

The doctor stays silent for a while, then she seems to remember something. “Oh- you have a visitor.” She walks out of the room for a few moments, then comes back in with Leta following behind her.

Leta simply waves and sits down in a chair. “I told you.” She cocks her head to the side, her yellow eyes staring right into the human’s.

"Hm?" His eyes follow the doctor then fall back to the window he had been gazing at. Once he hears the doctor and the guest enter the room, he turns back around, sighing a bit annoyedly at the sight of the girl he met in the forest.

Furi rolls his eyes at the girl's comment, "Go f*ck yourself." He turns his head opposite from her.

The doctor looks between a Furi and Leta a bit awkwardly, then walks out of the room, leaving the two of them alone.

Leta glances around, then sighs. “I was that wolf that rescued you, you know.”
