@Fenrir

He raised an eyebrow in Surprise as Beezlebub got closer bit managed not to move away as she spoke. "And you're sure it's not Hell being hellish?" He leaned back in slight worry. If he'll was rebelling then heaven wasn't too far behind. He'd even heard rumors about Azeriaphale's followers which seemed to be growing by the day. "I've heard little about riots and rebellion in hevean but that doesn't mean it's not there."

@Oakiin

Sorry for vanishing, I forgot my first day of work started yesterday, and I got totally wiped out by it xD)

"Oh, I'm sure," she hissed. "And I'm not just talking soe little thing either, I have reason to suspect those within my own personal circle. I've caught them all muttering." She hesitated, not wanting to look like she was entirely isolated from her own side. "If this is really happening, you must be noticing something similar in Heaven. If you're not, then I'll take my inquires elsewhere."
She realized suddenly how close she was to the angel and sat back abruptly, trying to look casual.

@Fenrir

(it's okay! Don't worry about it, answer when you can)
"You have a 'personal circle?'" Gabriel asked with a laugh, despite the situation. "I've noticed small groups here and there but nothing too big to be a full on rebellion. At least not yet." He leaned back casually "where would you take your inquiry? You know no other angel."

@Oakiin

(Thanks! ^^)
"Of course I do!" she snapped. "Hastur, Dagon, Ligur…You think I run hell alone?" She slumped back, sighing and rubbing her eyes in frustration. "I'm probably imagining things. I'm getting paranoid." She chose not to answer his question about where she would turn to next; he was right, she didn't have anywhere else.

@Fenrir

"and you truely trust them?" Gabriel shook his head with a small smile of disbelief. "Maybe it's better to be paranoid. That way no mistakes are made." He suggested

@Oakiin

"I used to," she replied miserably. "And I don't need suggestions from you, Angel. You mind your own business. I know how to run Hell perfectly well, thank-you very much."
She was beginning to regret contacting him again, remembering why she'd stormed away the first time. But she couldn't leave this time. Not twice in a row, and besides, she really did have nowhere else to go. She settled for shooting him a murderous look and folding her arms across her chest.

@Fenrir

Gabriel raised his hands in defense and shrugged "you're the one who contacted me. If anything, you made it my business." He rested his hands back in his lap "so what are you going to do now that you seemingly don't have and one you can truely trust in Hell?" He asked, ignoring her gaze

@Oakiin

She didn't reply for a moment, trying to come up with any answer asides from "I don't know." It wasn't easy. Without the ever present assurance that came from having a strong council at her back, she was left a little alone. He was entirely right when he suggested she couldn't trust anyone in Hell. It felt like the entire place was turned against her, even though she had no valid proof of this.
She found she didn't want to go back. She didn't think she could bear another day of sitting at her desk, trying to work while she was paranoid of an attack at any second.
"I don't know," she finally admitted, almost too quietly to be heard. She opened her mouth to elaborate, but no words came out, so she simply closed it again, wondering what kind of dangerous game she thought she was playing by opening up to her arch-rival.

@Fenrir

Gabriel inclined his head and nodded, not knowing what to say. Wasn't it it great that he'll finally destroyed itself? He wouldn't have to worry about that piece of scum underworld and is's residents again! Angels could have it easy for the rest of eternity, no hardships, no demons, no getting in the way of plans or future apocalypses! Somehow this thought didn't sit well with him. Sure it'd be great to have some peace, but where was the fun in that? What joy came from sitting at a desk a day and regretting life if there was nothing to distract you? And the balance of life would be off as well. He almost groaned at the thought, he'd have to deal with restoring that balance. He breathed in a sigh "then let's figure out a way to fix this."

@Oakiin

Beelzebub was a little surprised at this, but hid it well.
"You're offering to help?" she asked sceptically. "Why don't I trust you?"
She turned to face him properly, searching his face for any answers. She refused to notice how beautiful his eyes were. That wasn't important right now. No matter how much he found herself wanting to get lost in them.
Stop it, she sharply reprimanded herself. All of this was just because he was an angel, of course he was alluring. It was in their nature. It didn't mean anything, least of all that she found him attractive.

@Fenrir

(aaaaaaaawwwwwwww!)
"I'm an angel and you're a demon, of course we're not gonna trust each other but there's a balance that needs to be maintained." He gazed fowards and crossed his arms over his chest, uncomfortable with being scrutinized by her

@Oakiin

(^^ Thankiesssss!! ^^)
"You really believe that?" she asked, arching her eyebrow. "There is no darkness without light and all that. I'm not…opposed to the idea. We would have to be careful, though. If either side found out, there'd be even more trouble than there already is. We'd need to keep this up on earth, out of sight." she hesitated, before grudgingly adding, "And we'll need to meet regularly too. I don't trust any method of contacting you not be…monitored."
She narrowed her eyes, enjoying his discomfort at being so heavily studied. It was one way at getting back at him for her intrusive thoughts.

@Fenrir

He nodded along with what she was saying, knowing that it'd be exactly what he'd do. "Aw scared that we might be caught in this little affair that we've spin ourselves into?" He asked teasingly, "want us to be all alone do you now?" He leaned close, closer than he had ever dared to be to a demon "all you had to do was ask," he whispered, hoping to get back at her for staring at him I'm that way. He didn't know if her stare made him uncomfortable for the sole reason she was a demon or for the reason that he liked being looked at by her

@Oakiin

(Oooooh xDD)
Beelzebub's breath caught in her throat, her heart jumping. She looked away from his intense eyes, every nerve feeling like it was on fire.
"What's that…what's that supposed to mean?" she choked out, her voice refusing to work properly. This was too much. He was too close, taking this in an unknown direction. She didn't like unknowns. But she couldn't move away, couldn't let him have the satisfaction of winning. She twisted her sash in her hands where they rested on her lap, accidentally tearing the glossy fabric.

(Just FYI, if I'm slow responding, it's because I'm working all this weekend TwT I'll be back properly Monday or Tuesday)

@Fenrir

(it's alright! Take your time!)
Gabriel smirked, knowing he'd gotten to her. The tension in the air around them crackled with demonic and angelic disturbances. He finally leaned back, letting her have space to breath. He shrugged and went back to sitting into a casual position, one leg propped up on the other "whatever you want it to mean. A million things or nothing at all." His gaze slid to hers and his smirk only grew "what's wrong Bee? Flustered by an angel? I didn't know I had that affect on you."

@Oakiin

(Thankies! <3)
Beelzebub stopped herself just short of slapping that smirk off his face. She took a deep breath, both to calm down and to clear her head from the overwhelming scent of his cologne.
"Do not call me that," she spat through gritted teeth. "It's Lord Beelzebub to you, Angel. And no, since you asked. I don't get flustered. But if you keep testing me, I'll show you flustered."
She glared forwards and subtly adjusted her sash to hide the incriminating tear. She was just as angry at herself as him. She should have pushed him away, done something. Instead she'd just sat there, undeniably well, flustered. But it was definitely hatred that was making her heart pound and her nerves tingle. Nothing else.

@Fenrir

"is that what they call you? Lorde Beezlebub? Kind of excessive." He chuckled lightly dnd shook his head "I apologies but dI on't think I'll be able to keep calling you that for long." His face turned serious after a while as he glanced around the park "it's better down here, considering the not-apocolypse. I'd rather be here than up there dealing with petty angels and thrir insignificant problems." He admitted, a bit surprised he didn't so in front of the demon

@Oakiin

"You'd better," she growled. "But I'll admit I agree. Work in Hell is getting a little more…tedious, I suppose. I wouldn't say no to a distraction. So are we agreeing to meet regularly?"
She cocked an eyebrow at him, wondering if he was really serious about going through with this, wondering if she was. Wondering where it would lead.
Wondering what the end result would be.

@Fenrir

Gabriel nodded slowly, sucking on his teeth as if contemplating his options "yes I think we're in agreement to meet."
Gabriel looked over at her, studying her carefully "tell me, is this so much as a distraction for you as much as a means of gaining a solution to a problem?"

@Oakiin

Beelzebub considered his words carefully, before carefully choosing her own. "If one of those leads to the other, I wouldn't complain," she finally said. "But Hell comes first, and so do it's problems. They come far before my own distraction."
She tilted her head at him, lazily looking him up and down. "Why do you ask? Is it because this serves as a distraction to you? I never would have thought an archangel would fraternize with the opposition so willingly."

@Fenrir

He shrugged, unfazed by her small probe "maybe you don't know as well as you'd like to think you do. Not all archangels are as innocent as they seem. And to answer your previous question, yes. As well as being the only solution to whatever is happening now in both hevean and he'll, this serves as a little distraction from the questions and rumors spreading up there." He pointed skywards and rolled his eyes.

@Oakiin

"Maybe not," she conceded. "I suppose we should figure out any…rules we might want to instate. Where we meet, when."
She was back to staring forward, watching idly as the humans walked by, curling her lip in disgust as a happy family walked by the parents holding hands and the two kids running circles chasing butterflies. A small flick of her finger resulted in a butterfly transforming into a bee right as the daughter clasped her hands around it. She let go with a scream of pain, and fell back into the grass.
Beelzebub snickered, glancing across at Gabriel to judge his reaction.

@Fenrir

Gabriel had focused on a young couple, the man seemingly to be upset with the girl. He looked to be on the verge of slapping the poor thing that was sobbing her eyes out. He flicked his hand just as the man raised his hand to hurt the girl, dislocating his shoulder. The girl gasped in shock and fleed. He sighed softly in relief before glancing over the young girl crying in pain. "Was that necessary?" He asked Beezlebub with an eyeroll "I don't know how I'm going to be able to stand meeting with you if you keep doing that."

@Oakiin

(Okay, i hope I'm back for good this time. We're doing a deep clean of our house rn, nd that plus work is kicking my butt xD)
"Was that necessary?" Beelzebub asked, flicking a dismissive hand at the couple. "You do good, I do bad. It's part of the job description. Maybe if I wasn't so bored, I wouldn't have done that."
She looked back at the still-wailing child expressionlessly.
"Besides, she was going to kill that butterfly. Maybe next time she'll think before grabbing with her fat little hands."

@Fenrir

(XD it's all good!)
Gabriel shook his head "I don't do good. Far from it actually, contrary to popular belief. I do what's needed and what feels right. I may not be the holiest angel but I know what I must do as a soldier of God. If that means dismembering a man for his actions against an innocent soul, then I'll gladly skin the poor son of a bitch to their bare bones and feed them to Satan himself." He leaned in close to her again, not as close as last time but still an uncomfortable few inches apart. "Say what you want about angels bit know we are not good. Good is reserved for those who still haven't seen the horrors if life. The apocolypse would have resolved all the bad done in this world and would have brought a new era of rebirth." He leaned back and glared off into the distance, feeling foolish for admitting all that to a demon
