Brink nodded and lead Finn around the building, "that'd be nice, want me to pick anything up for the lunch or dinner?" He asked over his shoulder. He stopped momentarily to let a security guard pass, pressing against a wall to stay hidden. They eventuay made it to back exit and slipped through the alleyways

@Spider-man

Brink's heart nearly stopped for a moment when he saw the security guard and he let out a breath once he had passed. Finn was having so much fun with Brink he forgot how much trouble he would be in if they were caught. He shook his head. "No, we should be fine. I have food at home that I can make quickly." He said holding Brink's hand. (Hey I was thinking of having one of Finn's extended family members show up soon to add drama hows that sound?)

@Fenrir

(Oooh yes! Definately want some drama!)
Brink nodded "I should be back in an hour then, possibly less depending on how needy my sister is." He laughed softly and gently squeezed Finn's hand. "Thanks for going along with this." He waved to the building with a half smile "I know it's not really what your used to but it was fun anyways."

@Spider-man

(Would Brink know french?)
"Thanks for showing me." He wrapped Brink in a hug that lasted a little longer than he intended. "I had a lot of fun Brink. I'll see you when you get back." He detached himself from him. His phone rang but he checked and ignored it when he saw the name.

@Fenrir

(maybe very minimal but not enough to understand a full conversation.)
Brink still wasn't sure how to handle all the sudden hugging and affection but he was learning to absolutely love it each unexpected time. He nuzzled into Finn's shoulder "your welcome, I'm glad you liked it." He replied as Fin pulled away. He nodded and arched an eyebrow at Finn's phone before nodding "you will, see you till then." He winked and started walking towards the abandoned carnival grounds.

@Spider-man

Finn held him a little tighter when he felt Brink nuzzle into him. Finn watched him leave and then turned around. He took out his phone and returned the call he missed. Whenever Brink came back he would come up the elevator to an older woman sitting in Finn's living room. She seemed very uptight and professional. Wearing an expensive dress and crossing her legs. Finn was in the kitchen.

@Fenrir

"so when am I crashing the wedding?" Jacks called from her perch on a hoop above Brink.
"We're not getting married, Jacks! We're taking things slow. He has college to look forwards to and I have my own shings I need to take care of way before I even consider marriage."
Jack sniffed a laugh and arched a delicate brow "really? Like what?"
Brink glared at his sister "like being a better person for him and for myself" he replied, cometely serious.
Jacks sighed softly and made her way down to him "brink, he's not going to care about that."
Brink shrugged slightly "maybe not but if I want this to work, I need to make some changes."
Jacks nodded slowly and pulled her brother into a hug. "Don't change too much Kay? Now go, you're gonna be late and I want to rest without you annoying me."
Brink laughed softly and hugged his sister back, "alright, dot't trash the place."
"Never." She winked and nudged him to the door.

Brink eventually made it back to Finn's apartment, having made a few stops at the store to pick up groceries for breakfast tomorrow. He glanced up as he reached the apartment and took a double take at the woman sitting on the couch. Had he gone to the wrong apartment? Was something wrong? He stiffened slightly and narrowed his eyws, meeting the woman's calculating stare.

@Spider-man

The women stiffened even more when she saw Brink. Poppy was being unusually quiet sitting at the coffee table. When she saw Brink she stood up and ran over hugging him. “Brink!”
Finn heard and stuck his head out of the kitchen. “Brink you’re back. Auntie this is the room mate I was telling you about.” His smile seemed forced as he looked between Brink and his aunt.
“It’s nice to meet you Brink. You can call me Ms Alliere.” Her face was emotionless. She turned to Finn and spoke in another language. It wouldn’t of been hard for Brink to catch on to a few words that weren’t very nice being used to describe him. Finns smile dropped a bit and he spoke back to her his French wasn’t very good but he only said a few words.

@Fenrir

Brink took a glance at the woman before scooping poppy up in a hug "hi princess!" He greeted, "mind putting these in the kitchen? There's a cookie in there." He whispered with a wink, handing her the shopping bag before straightening.
He nodded in acknowledgement "it's nice to meet you too." He muttered, shifting uncomfortably in his seat. He flinched internally at being called a 'room mate' but he understood the hesitance, especially with the stoic demeanor of the woman. He arched an eyebrow at the French, understanding very little but knowing that it wasn't all that great. He walked past the two of them to help Poppy in the kitchen but not before muttering "if you're going to talk behind someone's back, make sure they leave the are first and that they don't understand you."

@Spider-man

Finn aunt looked nothing like him. She was almost as pale as Brink and everything about her screamed perfect. not a single hair out of place. She laughed slightly at Brinks muttering while Finn stiffened. "Oh don't worry boy I was just asking my nephew if he brings home every street ra-" Finn interrupted her stepping forward. He took the bag from Poppy.
"Auntie enough. Brink can you come with me and help put groceries away. Poppy go wash up dinners almost ready." To his surprise, His aunt actually did stop talking. Poppy walked off to the bathroom and Finn tried to lead brink to the kitch. His hand on Brinks should didn't go noticed fro his now silent aunt though.

@Fenrir

Brink grinned, itching for a good confrontation with the lady. "A street rat?" He laughed and rolled his eyes, "darling, I've heard much much worse things from others. You can be more creative." He purred, urging her to continue. He only backed off when Finn guided him to the kitchen. "Your aunt seems lovely." He muttered, taking the grocery bag from Finn and putting the things he had bought in the geidge ainnd ethe cabinets

@Spider-man

Brink nodded pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm sorry she's a lot," He said coming over and hugging Brink for a moment. "She hates my guts I swear. She's only here for the night. I'm trying to subtly convince her to stay in a hotel." He backed up and went over to the stove. Checking on something that was in a pan and then opening the oven. "I- I'm not out to her. She's been dangling the possibility of fighting for custody of Poppy for months now. This would be the last straw for her." His voice was low and he didn't look directly at Brink.

@Fenrir

Brink leaned into Finn's hug for the moment that I lasted before taking a deep breath. "I can always stay with Jacks if it makes it easier. Besides, somehow I don't think you'll be able to convince her to sleep on the couch while her nephew's 'street rat' roommate stays in the guest bedroom." He said with a small sigh as he passed ked everything else away. His brows knitting together at the last bit, "what does you being gay have to do with Poppy? She's clearly happy here and far better taken care of than in any foster home she could be put in." He argued in a harsh whisper, glaring at the livingroom before shaking his head.

@Spider-man

"You don't have to leave!" Brink said a bit too fast. "If you're comfortable staying that is. I don't care what she thinks and we-" He cut himself off for a second then shrugged. "We have any other spare room shed probably prefer anyway." He took Brinks hand gently turning from the dinner for a moment.. "She wouldn't understand. She already thinks I'm an awful influence. Especially since I'm refusing to just ship her off to this all-girls boarding school as my grandparents did. "I'm looking at some really nice private schools too as a compromise but that's not enough for her." He was rambling now.

@Fenrir

Brink sighed softly to try and calm his nerves. "Of course I'm comfortable staying here. I wouldn't be returning everyday if I weren't." He offered a slightly smile and squeezed Finn's hand in reassurance. "Hey," he gently cupped Finn's cheek with his other hand "no ones going to take poppy away, Finn. If you find a private school for poppy, then that's great but if you don't and you think she's happy staying close, then that's great too. Anyone sane person is going to see that Poppy is happiest with you and Willow. No one can doubt you love her. Not even Mrs meenie pants over there." He said, jerking his head towards the living room

@Spider-man

Finn nodded smiled gently at Brink. "Thank you," He said hugging him before stepping back. His eyes had watered slightly but he just linked them away. "What did you buy?" He tried to change the subject as he took the finished dinner out of the oven. He tried to not think about his aunt in the living room. He looked over at brink over his shoulder.

@Fenrir

Brink nodded slightly, not entirly convinced that Finn was alright but not wanting to push him, especially with his aunt in the next room over. Instead he quickly gave Finn a kiss on the cheek. "Just some stuff for breakfast tomorrow and some fruits. Oh and some sweets since you all seemed to devour the ones I brought a few days ago." He said, waving a box of cookies
