"You call me Jo-Jo, you get called sweetheart," Jo smirks.

"but I'm not-"

"Well, boo-hoo." Jo laughs.

"fuck off."

"Only if you watch." Jo shoots back without a pause.

"What, pray tell, is your point, sweetheart?" Jo says, whirling and pinning Nikki up against the side of the elevator.

"And besides, what makes you think I care what you think of me?" they whispers, his lips grazing her ear.

Nikki looked at him annoyed "what are you doing?"

Jo laughs and steps back.

"Oh, that used to work so wonderfully too. . ." he says to himself.

He turns to the now open doors and steps out.

"oh shut up were in a building you almost blew up for Christ sake."

"It had a 5 minute timer. I'd have been out before it blew up." Jo snorts.

"and the innocent people you would have killed?"

"I don't care about them. Necessary casualties of a necessary act." Jo says simply.

"and that is why I don't give you the time of day."

Jo shrugs.

"I never asked you to, sweetheart. You decided to stop me from shooting that man when we met."

"and you push me against walls."

"Oh, get over it." Jo snorts.

"why do you do it?"

"Because it's what used to work to get you to shut the hell up. It doesn't even faze you anymore, though, which means I have to do something else."

"like you could do much else."

Jo raises an eyebrow.

"You want to bet?"

"yes"

Jo sighs and shakes his head.

"Stubborn woman. . . I could kiss you, you know. I think that would be an effective way to shut you the fuck up. Or I could simply shoot you. Either one is fine with me."

"you wouldn't fucking kiss me, you wouldn't even shoot me."

Jo raises an eyebrow.

They stride over to Nikki and kiss her, then step away.

"I most definitely would."

They walk away.

Nikki froze and just looked at jo with wide eyes looking half offended but blushing

Jo turns and smirks.

"Well are you just going to stand in the elevator gaping like a high-school gitl getting kissed by her crush or are you going to come give me a reason to actually shoot you next?"

Nikki rolled her eye and walked out of the elevator with her arms crossed and her eyes on the ground

Jo laughs.

"Now that you've stopped me from blowing that fucker up today, you owe me."
