" So is this what you do every evening?"

O'Hara seemed indifferent. "What do you mean?"

" this how you spend your days? coming home just to drink an sleep."

"Yes," she said, looking over at Ravelynn with a bit of a challenging look. "Is there something wrong with that?"

" no, i do the same so" she said and giggled, her sweet smile showing its colors.

O'Hara let a light smirk settle on her features. Ravelynn was beginning to get easier to read while O'Hara kept her outer defenses up. "With your… how did you so kindly refer to him? Loverboy?"

" no, if i got tipsy around him he'd start aiming for my head. i go out on my own and let him have the house."

O'Hara glanced over at her. "I beg your pardon? Aiming for your head?"

".. its .. its nothing to concern yourself with, lets just get this over with."

O'Hara turned and squared her shoulders to Ravelynn's. "No. I'd like you to elaborate."

" no, O'Hara i am not, thats personal matters."

O'Hara arched her eyebrows. "Are you in any kind of danger?" she asked quietly.

" if you did anything to stop it you'd get hurt as well" she whispered

O'Hara's expression changed almost instantly. "I refuse to let you return," she said shortly. "You can stay with me for the time being, and my car will take you to and from work. No will not be an acceptable answer, am I clear?"

"yes ma'am" she said softly

"Good." O'Hara nodded, and the elevator doors opened. "Come on," she instructed, leading the way down the hallway toward her suite.

ravelynn followed " i feel out of place here.."

"Well don't," O'Hara replied, walking with set confidence in her steps. "Walk like you belong, and you do belong."

" O'Hara.. i really dont.." she mumbled

"Yes, you do." O'Hara glanced over at her. "Long strides, keep your head up and square your shoulders. Confidence is attractive, darling."

ravelynn tried her best and ended up looking like a dork 'see?"

O'Hara's stoic composure broke as she cracked a small smile. "You're trying," she remarked, reaching the door to her suite, sliding the key in, and stepping inside.

she sighed and followed O'Hara inside. " wow, this is beautiful"

O'Hara nodded slowly. "Thank you, I suppose. Not much is mine, though. That's the entire point of living in a hotel."

ravelynn chuckled, " come on! lets get those bottles out
