He laughed gently and glanced back at her "Blame that on my brother, not me." He glanced around and turned left towards the darker part of the forests

"Uh I'm blaming you…" She said, cautiously following him. "Where are you taking me?"

"Yeah, blame me for things I didn't do." He retorted with a sigh "somewhere."

"fun." She smiled, walking beside him.

He glared away, trying to get the thought of the day he was banished from Olympus out of his mind

"I told you already! I didn't do anything to her!" He yelled to his brother on the throne "I helped her get away! How is that a crime?" He begged, already seeing the hellhounds stalking towards him
"You? of all gods helping anther mortal?! Lios I never thought you like your father. Guess we're all right in the sense." Zeus, named after their shared father laughed at his younger brother "Honestly. truly disgusting. Send him down to the pits of the underworld boys." The hellhounds and a few male gods shoved Lios towards the exit "NO! Please let me say bye to her at least!" He begged in agony as the hellhounds tore into him with their claws "She's not here.If she truly cared, she would have come."

"Lios?" She asked softly, putting her hand on his shoulder, "Lios are you okay?"

he nodded robotically, the response he normally gave when he slipped into his mind "I'm fine." He muttered, not quite himself.

"Lios. I know your not. Talk now or I have no other choice…" She threatened him. "Please…"

"Threatening me in my own domain, love? my my my, how confident you've grown." He tried to joke, but it came out flat, due to his rising emotions "I'm fine, really."

"Lios…..Talk. Now." She said, knowing that something was definitely up.

He stopped in his tracks and glanced down at her "why the sudden change? The sudden interest?" He asked, voice falling low

"Did I do something?" She asked, now very concerned. And a little hurt.

he shook his head and continued forwards "No. you did nothing at all."

"Lios, you know I care for you. I want you to talk about whatever is going on. I want to help you." She said, her voice cracking mid sentence.

"Too late for that, love." he said over his shoulder, voice also cracking "I've repeated the same story over and over and over again for the past 10 years."

She had a few tears trickling down her face, "I—I…"

"You didn't know? I know that. You never were allowed to know. After they dragged me here they told me I was never to see a living face again for the next 10 years. I was never allowed to see the face of my family, of those I loved for years." He glanced up at her and held her face in his hand, wiping away tears "Why do you cry my love? For me? I'm not worth you're sorrows. I wasn't worth them when my trial was set. I'm not worth them now"

Caria tried to stop crying but the tears flooded out, and she hug him. "can you ever let me care for you?"

He hugged her tightly, running a gentle hand down her back "not if I can help it, no."

She didn't say anything. she wanted to but held back her words. Caria eventually stopped crying but she wouldn't let go of Lios. Not again.

He wrapped his arms around her and whispered, "it's alright, you won't lose me again."

"You said that last time…" She mumbled into his shirt. She knew he was keeping many things from her. and she wanted to know.

"I know. Last time had some…complications that forced me to break that promise." He muttered, brushing her hairw with a light hand

She kissed his jaw, "Don't you ever leave me again…."

He kissed the bridge of her nose "I never wanted to leave you in the first place."

She then connected their lips, "You want to talk about it?"

He kissed her back "How have you not heard it from the others?" He asked with a sigh

"I locked myself in my room for days. After you left, I didn't know what to do…"

"hm, so you didn't here the other gods story?" He glanced down at her, a bit confused
