Kyle nodded. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing…" he fell back asleep after kissing Payton's forehead.

Payton sighed a little and laid there next to him for a few more hours before getting up to stretch and walk around the room a little. He opened the curtains and gazed down at the ground. Everything's okay now..

Kyle started to shake when Payton got out the bed. Without him there his nightmare came back. Kyle was once more alone and he had no warmth beside him to tell him otherwise.

Payton glanced over at him worriedly and sat down on the side of the bed, gathering Kyle up in his arms. He kissed the top of his head and sighed. “You’re okay, baby..I’m right here.”

Kyle’s breathing relaxed and he stopped shaking. His nightmare went away and his head was filled with dreams of him, Payton, and Lily. He slept for a few more hours and then woke up. “Good morning…again…” he yawned.

“Good morning..” Payton replied softly, his eyes unfocused slightly as he gazed out the window next to the bed. “How’d you sleep?”

“Good~” he lied. “Can I have my good morning kiss?” Kyle grinned.

“You has a lot of bad dreams last night.” Payton leaned over and kissed him gently. “I want you to tell me when you feel bad from now on, okay? I want to help you feel better.”

Kyle froze, but nodded. “Okay…” he didn’t like being helpless. He didn’t like relying on other people to fix his problems.

“Don’t feel bad. I’m just looking out for you. I love you.” Payton smiled, snuggling him close. “When do you want to leave the hospital?”

Kyle gave a quick smile. “Whenever you think is fine…” Kyle clenched the sheets under him. He pulled Payton in for a kiss, but pulling away soon after.

“They’ll let you leave when you feel like you’re ready to leave.” Payton said, rubbing his arm. “It’s not my decision to make.”

“I guess today then…” Kyle couldn’t look Payton in the eyes. He could never knowing that Payton knew his suicidal thoughts. Kyle feared he wouldn’t be treated the same as before. Payton would look at him different. “Can we…forget this…” Kyle asked and kept looking at his hands.

“If you really want to. I still want you to tell me when you feel like hurting yourself and I want you to find a therapist. I’m not going to treat you any differently though. You’re still my boyfriend and we’re still equals.” Payton said, cupping his cheek with his hand.

Kyle’s looked to the side. He nodded lightly and got out of bed. “I need to go to the bathroom…” Kyle sighed and started walking though was dragging his feet, which almost made him trip. He didn’t think much of it and continued to walk.

Payton nodded and stood up, letting him get up. He watched him in silence, worry coursing through him. What do I do…someone tell me..

Kyle shut the bathroom door and looked in the mirror. I wish this never happened. Our lives would still be the same. I wouldn’t be in this state. Payton wouldn’t have seen this side of me and everything have been okay. Kyle turned on the water and washed his face.

Payton leaned against the wall and gazed out the window. I’m glad Tyler got to him in time…if he..if he had died it would’ve been my fault. He’s not dead though. I’ll just act normal. I won’t try and convince him to get a therapist or let out all his feelings yet.

Kyle dried his face and came out the bathroom. "Hey…since I'm leaving today can you sign the papers?"

Payton turned back to him and walked over to wrap his arms around Kyle. “Yup. Can we get coffee on the way home?”

"Yeah…" Kyle kissed his forehead. Kyle let go and sat on the bed. "I'll be waiting."

"No I mean when we leave together." Payton said, sitting beside him with a smile. "Are you hungry?"

"I know, I meant I'll be waiting here when you finish the papers and yeah, we can get something also." Kyle leaned back on the bed and laid down.

"Ohh okay. I'll be back in a minute then." Payton leaned over him and kissed him quickly before hopping off the bed and heading towards the front desk.

Kyle sat up on his bed once Payton left and ran a hand through his hair. Kyle looked at the door and scratched his neck. "Damn it!" Kyle rubbed his eyes. "Okay….." He watched the door and waited for Payton to come back. He played the persona that he always played when he was with other people.

Payton filled out the right forms so Kyle could leave the hospital later that day. He finished and walked back to his room, humming softly. “Did you miss me?” He grinned as he came in, ruffling Kyle’s hair.

Kyle grinned. "You know it! Are we ready to go?" Kyle stood up and kissed Payton's cheek.

“Yup! They’re gonna check you up one more time and then we can go.” Payton said, taking his hand and squeezing it.

Kyle stretched. "I get to see Lily! I'm finally going to ask her if Rowan is the one she likes. It can't be him. I have to be her favorite!"
