As they walked, he slowly started looking around more, staying silent, but looking around. He was still blaming himself for what happened to Nat.

Nat knocked on the door of Destiny's home when they reached it, stepping back besides Callin in case she didn't come. "Coming!" She heard yelled, and an Indian woman opened the door. "Oh! Leigh! And Callin!"

Deleted user

"Come in! Come in!" Destiny said cheerily. "Tea?" She asked as she poured herself some Indian tea. When they didn't respond quick enough, she sat down on a couch, gesturing for them to do the same.

@gracehustle

Callin sat down on the couch somewhat timidly, his hands tucked in his lap so he would take up as little room as possible.

"So, what's the reason for this visit?"
"Can we not just visit our friend?"
"I know you better hun. Tell me what's up."

Deleted user

"Fine. Callin and I were showing each other our memories, of the stuff that happened to us. I showed him mine and then searched in his. It was when I was looking in his that something happened."
"Can you tell me what happened, Callin?"

@gracehustle

"Hm?" He looked up, surprised he was actually being talked to, "I suppose…when she was going through my memories, her eyes started to glow like normal, then something happened and she had to pull away, she seemed to be in pain…" He trailed off, biting his lip.

She listened to what he was saying. "Ok…well that doesn't seem like it's your fault," Destiny said, trying to make lift of the situation. "Do you think it's your fault?"

@gracehustle

He didn't answer, his gaze flicking back to the floor silently. It was obvious he still did and was blaming himself over and over.

Destiny watched him. "It seems you do." She took Nat's hand and closed her eyes, using her own magic to decipher what happened. She then opened her eyes, knowing what was wrong.

Deleted user

"I know what happened. It wasn't your fault Callin. At least, not exactly."
"What do you mean, not exactly?"

Deleted user

"Someone…someone plagued your memories. As if they knew that Nat was going to look through. Someone wanted to hurt Nat. I don't know who though."

Deleted user

"She'll be fine, as long as I can find the plagued memory. I won't be injured: my magic works differently to Nat's. But you have to trust me enough to do it."

@gracehustle

"What will you do if you find it?" He asked in an almost whisper, worried Destiny would get hurt or he would have to forget a memory he actually liked.

Deleted user

"Well I'll remove the plague of course," Destiny laughed softly. "It won't do anything to you, not if it's leaving you alone right now."

Deleted user

"It shouldn't," She continued. "But…I can't guarantee anything. I'm sorry. But if we leave it there, there's a possibility that it will try and spread to you, and then affect you."

Deleted user

Destiny was silent. "I suppose, but the longer the memory stays affected, the higher the chance that it will start to affect you."

@gracehustle

He frowned but nodded, turning the idea over in his mind and hoping that the memory affected was one that he wouldn't mind forgetting.
