Emily stood there for a moment utterly confused before she walked over to a cabinet and started getting out spices

It was almost 5 so Emily was getting everything ready for dinner she grabbed everything shed need from the fridge and brought everything over to the counter to start preping "welcome back. "

Eventually Ashley gathers up the courage to ask something.
"W- What are you making?"

Ashley's stomach growls.
Ashley squeaks and looks embarrased.
"That- that's nice. . ."

Ashley's form turns solid.
Her color returns, the caramel tone of her skin and the black of her hair, the dark blues, greys and blacks of her clothes making her presence muted and tiny. Then again, she was quite small already, and very thin. Her eyes were a dark, royal purple color.
"Y- yes, I w- would like some."

Ashley looks just a tiny bit offended, but the look quickly fades.
"Um. . . I- I'm not sure I can float when I'm solid like this. . . meaning I'm too short to reach any of the cabinets without a stepladder."
