Two of my OCs adopt your character out of an abusive situation and give them the appreciation they deserve
It's a wartime situation, with a lone wanderer who wouldn't let your character, a child whose parents had died in the war, be left alone unsupervised. It's obviously because they just want to find a suitable home for them guys, not because they're starved for familial affection and the joys of parenting or anything.
Monster or witch adopts human child.
Superhero and sidekick kind of apprenticeship thing idk.

Appearance:(I'll draw him better at some point lol, this is a picrew) (Extended: 3'9, ~40 pounds. He looks soft and small, and he gets cold easily, so he typically wears a beanie and hoodie/warm clothes. His curly hair is impossible to tame, and he gains more freckles when it's sunny)
Personality: Harpy is,,, dumb. He's very confident in his own abilities to hide the fact that he is not very confident in his own abilities (because this makes sense to him, of course. Fake it til you make it, right?). He likes to be with other people and is stressed when he's alone, but that doesn't mean he'll admit that he wants to have company all the time. He is actively repressing the memories of his parents' death and his parents overall to the point where his memories of them are limited and foggy.
Other: He is dyslexic, but thinks he's just bad at reading, so hasn't bothered to do anything about it. He also likes to draw, and he's trying his best to take care of himself in his parents' absence, but he's,,, not doing a very good job at that, especially considering he's kinda stupid.
