"Playing enga against Akai," Cayden says, nodding at the siphonophore, who bobs in response. "He's very bad at it."

Vē'Êtherñøth squints at the siphonophore. "Makes sense, I guess. Could I join?"

"Sure," Cayden shrugs. "You can take over for Akai." The siphonophore, glad of an excuse, bobs away from the game to rejoin its chain. "Do you know how to talk to them?" he asks Vē'Êtherñøth, pointing to the sea urchins. "It makes the game easier."

Vē'Êtherñøth shrugs and turns to one, listening for a moment then nodding. She moves one, and waits for Cayden to take his turn. "I do now."

Cayden looks at the sea urchins, then bends over and says something to one, in a language that sounds like velcro being pulled. He pulls it out gently, then lets go and watches it climb hurriedly to the top.

Vē'Êtherñøth watches intently, then makes her move. She watches the sea urchin walk with fascination.

Cayden coaxes out another urchin and places it on top of the tower. After doing so, he reaches in his sleeve and pulls out a slippery layer of algae, laying it on top of the completed row. "To make it slipperier and harder," he explains.

Shaking her head, Vē'Êtherñøth makes her move, carefully placing the urchin down.

Cayden reaches for an urchin, stops, converses with it quickly, and yanks out the urchin beside it. He drops it on top of the others somewhat carelessly and does a couple backflips from a safe distance while he waits.

Vē'Êtherñøth tilts her head, watching, then picks one from near the top. She smirks at Cayden.

Cayden shrugs and wiggles one out from the bottom, watching the pile of urchins sway, waiting until it stopped before setting the urchin on top and adding another layer of algae.

Vē'Êtherñøth watches closely, then pulls another from the bottom so that it's perching precariously on one urchin. She grins at Cayden in triumph, placing the urchin carefully on the top.

Cayden slides out an urchin near the middle, out from under the algae. He sets it gently on the top and watche sintently, blowing on it enough to make it sway but not fall, making it harder for Vē'Êtherñøth.

Vē'Êtherñøth snorts. "You know, this could be a lot harder for me you know. It isn't even a challenge."

She takes another from close to the bottom, so that it's swaying even more precariously. She steadys the tower, then places the urchin down.

Cayden shrugs, and whistles. Four dolphins swim in, up and around, weaving through the game and ships, making waves, currents, and a general nuisance of themselves. "The bottlenose ones can be on your team, and the boto ones are on my team" He pulls out an urchin from the bottom and settles it on the top.

Vē'Êtherñøth laughs. "That's more like it."

She grabs another, this time close to the middle, and places it carefully.

The dolphins chitter and bring in three leatherback turtles, who make even more of a nuisance of themselves.
Cayden sits on one and pulls an urchin out from the top while steering the turtle away from eating the algae. He drops it on the top. One of the other two turtles nudges Vē'Êtherñøth, expecting food.

Vē'Êtherñøth produces some kelp for the turtle, staring at Cayden intensely. It obviously wouldn't have much effect, her being as short as she was. She continued watching him as she pulled one at the bottom, and placed it at the top. The dolphins double their efforts.

Cayden laughs as the dolphins butt him and hops off the turtle, letting it join the dolphins in whatever they’re doing. He pulls one from the second row from teh bottom, leaving it too balancing on one urchin.

Vē'Êtherñøth chuckles, then pulls one from the top and places it carefully. At this point, the tower looked like one side to a zipper.
