Should I be making another rp? No. Am I doing it anyways? Yes.
A priest that does not believe in god, and human with the soul of a demon and an angel meshed together. The world has gone to shit. Demons and Angels are on the brink of war. There are only bits and pieces to a broken prophecy. A prophecy that is centuries old. The old world is falling apart and quickly becoming a battlefield of tormented souls, broken angels, and hungry demons. A church of lies, a hidden story. There is so much yet to be uncovered, and yet none of the puzzle pieces have a match. Humans are dropping like flies, and the two humans must work together in order to save the world… great.
I would like to be the priest if that's okay! And you're more than welcome to ask questions. This is just kind of helping me round some things out for a project that I'm working on.
BASIC RULES: PLEASE READ
- I am better at writing LGBT+ relationships, it's just easier for me? So this will probably be mlm or wlw (nonbinary, genderfluid, etc are more than welcome)
- If smut becomes a thing, it will be moved to pm. Let me know at the beginning of the rp if you're okay with this or if you want to skip it.
- This will be bloody, gory, there will be mentions of sensitive topics so please for the love of god tell me what your triggers are. I don't want to hurt anyone.
- If I am not familiar with your style of roleplaying, or it has been a while, I will ask for an rp style.
- Please no one liners, I'm not a huge fan of them. I understand if you're tired, or not up to it. Your replies can be short but please don't make it a habit. I would like this rp to be descriptive if possible.
- Don't be a dick, I think this should be self-explanatory. Your character can be a dick, but not you.
- Have somewhat decent grammar? Okay? Okay.
- If you have an idea, let me know! Chances are, I'll want to hear it!

(hrghoh okay I was waiting and now you have me– I'm a sucker for demon RPs. May I?)
(Sure thing! Have you gone over the rules and whatnot?)
(Oh yeah of course! I was actually looking at this after the first bump but I was waiting in case someone else wanted to hop in. I'm pretty familiar with it ^^)
(Sounds good! Do you need any details on anything? And how are you with stuff like language, gore, smut, etc? Any triggers at all?)
(No I'm pretty okay other than which charrie role you want. The things you listed are fine, but RPing s/a or r*pe isn't my thing. mentions and hints of it are okay if necessary though I do like to be informed of it)
(Sounds good. I would like to be the priest if that's alright! And a heads up, the human with the angel and demon meshed into their soul is some pretty heavy lore coming up, as well as the fact that the character is being tracked down by both angels and demons. S/a and r*pe are also triggers of mine. Mentions and hints are fine, but nothing explicit. I don't think I have any other triggers, so feel free to go wild with your characters. You character is allowed to have powers considering the fact that your character has an angel and a demon in them, just make sure they're not too op. For now at least)
(Great! I think I'm pretty good with Demonic esque charries so don't worry about them being OP! And the demon-angel charrie is great because they were my preference jkcfjik but yeah I'll get started and throw it at you soon!)
(ghajshdnm I just realized I asked you the question you specifically made sure to answer in the first post and I feel dumb. I'm sorry about that!)

Appearance: Typical Italian-American if you can believe it. First generation Italian who came through to Italy, so has the dark hair, eyes, and dark olive skin.
Personality: Big and intimidating. Their shoulders are always broad and they have something to say all the time. Not afraid to speak up for themselves and just has that natural confidence that people admire Italians for. Is also loud and proud. Not afraid to flaunt who they are either.
Powers/Mutations/Hybrid-
Angelic: Good at fistfighting and hits damn hard, minor healing to self and others.

She has a shit ton of tattoos, but these tattoos have a lot of meaning and actually give her powers (blessing from her patron gods). She's lean with muscle, like- she stronk.
Personality: Ylva is a sassy individual who is a get shit done kinda person. She's stern and is very much like a wine aunt who doesn't give a shit most of the time, but when she does it's to the people she genuinely cares about. Like- yeah. She's sassy and she makes biting comments, and she can be an asshole, but she genuinely cares for her team. She's cocky and almost an ass, and stubborn as hell. (Hm, well since the angels and the demons are kind of on a hunt for your character, maybe Gou gets in a tangle with a demon and Ylva kinda swoops in?)
(yeah alright sounds good to me! would you like me to start us off then?)
(ofc. after I'll hopefully get a little longer cus I suck at starting :p)
With nothing but the streetlights and the moon peering down at them from the pacing clouds, Gou plodded away from the late-night club with a lit cigarette in their hand, blowing out smoke as they breathed in the night air. The hot embers fell from the thin white stick as Gou stuck their hands into their pockets, distracting themselves with the sight of the sky. The air itself was heavy and thick around them, feeling as if they were breathing in marbles because of the upcoming storm. One thing they weren't such a fan of in America was the air quality. It felt as if they were breathing in soot and ash than oxygen sometimes. One of these days if they were to cough wrong, they'd cough up a cloud of black rather than clear air.
Through their thoughts and annoyed musings they didn't notice another presence, slowly stacking up against them as if the person following was multiplying. Until they felt a hand on their shoulder and a soft purr touch their ear, stirring the pointed, jagged hair there.
"You made such a stupid mistake zoning off, ziacha," growled a deep, rumbling voice. The lights around them popped out of their sockets and sparks flew down onto the ground, bouncing here and there wildly.
Gou startled out of their trance as soon as they were touched, trying to turn around but that hand paralyzing all of their movement. A second hand came up and gripped their neck, digging long nails tantalizingly close to their long vocal chords.
Gou was unable to speak, unable to struggle as the grip tightened on their throat, a grip meant for death as the darkness of the city lapped over the attacker and its victim. Gou was able to manage a squeak from their shaking neck as the voice spoke again: "I honestly wasn't expecting such an easy target. I've heard a lot about you… many people have their eyes on you. I was the lucky winner out of all those Demons and Angels you managed to defeat, hmm? Pathetic."
(Hey no worries!)
Ylva was on her own for patrol tonight, after the mess of this weekend, she hadn't been in the best mood. She sighed vaguely as she walked down the streets, reaching for her ear piece. "All's quiet. Anything on the radar?" She asks curiously into the mic. She waited a moment before one of her teammates, Harper, their seer, spoke up. "Yeah, actually. There seems to be a spike in demon activity a few roads down from where you are, think you can handle it?"
"Honey, I've been doing this job since I was 10. Yes, I can handle a demon." She clicked her tongue before taking off, her robes billowing around her as she did so. It had been a quiet night, which was suspicious in her eyes, so she would need to be a bit careful- actually no. Fuck that. Evacuate any humans, and go from there. Just another night, and another patrol. She moved through the streets seamlessly, keeping an eye out for any demon… or anything at all really. This was a well populated place, which was weird for demons and she didn't want to take any chances. And then the lights went out.
And she saw the demon. She chuckled. Oh this was going to be a piece of cake. Or at least she hoped it would be. "Oi! Fuckwad! Pick on someone your own size!" In a flash her whip was out, slashing through the air. She even managed to graze the demon's cheek slightly. That was a win at least. Now she was being more of a nuisance, which would hopefully make the demon drop the human and focus on her. Bowing her head slightly, and placing two fingers to her lips, she whispered something and a golden bubble appeared around them. A basic hiding spell so that if nearby humans were to pass by everything would look normal and they would continue on. The last thing she needed was casualties.
The Demon snarled up at the other voice, but it seemed intent on the person it managed to trap without their knowledge. Demons like this one were really quite noisy, and most powerful ones would manage to pop lightbulbs right out of their sockets, just like this one did. Only when the lash hit its cheek did it recoil, but it clung onto Gou intently, still strangling them with its long, dark fingers. Gou was also getting quite weak, their cheeks reddening even in the darkness of the Demon. However, despite it digging its nails into their throat, they didn't bleed. Gou refused to get even a drop of blood on their leather, despite it all being black. Honestly this whole thing just felt like a waste of time, and the only reason they had to be saved was because of the Demon paralyzing them. Gou could deal with pests like this with their eyes closed.
"This one is mine, you hear? I want them," The Demon hissed forward at Ylva, its eyes darkening and flashing its large set of teeth. They were spiked and a gleaming white in the half-light of the moon. This was quite the strange reaction for a Demon. Most would escape for the sake of their own tail, and perhaps tell the others to stay away for a while, but the Demon practically had itself wrapped around its target, almost in a protective way as it prepared to sink its teeth in. It didn't take much longer to bite down either, sinking its teeth into Gou's frozen shoulder and… tracking no blood down their shoulder? The Demon's teeth clearly sunk down into fine points of the victim, but the most reaction the Demon got was another half-scream. To Gou, it burned like they had just stuck their hand into a small flame, or got burned by a butt of a cigarette, which was pretty close to happening to their lips that was gripped tightly around the smoke they had been enjoying.
She really hated demons like this, always in her way. Always had to make her night an absolutely awful evening. "It's thanks to you dickheads I'm missing dinner!" She hissed. "And Alex is cooking tonight! So that's a big Fuck you!" She didlt want to risk the person that the demon was holding onto, doing that was a no bueno. But it was her job to make sure there was no casualties. It was just one demon, but there were abnormals. She just had to wait for the right moment. Ylva smirked a bit and shook her head. "A person doesn't belong to demons, scumbag!" She moved quickly now that the demon was intent on biting into their victim. She knew basic healing spells, but at the moment killing the demon was top priority. Her fingers rose to her lips. Guess it was time to pull out the big guns- sword actually. Her stomach started to glow as her robes opened around her. She grabbed the hilt and pulled, and a sword about the size of her leg appeared. While the demon was busy, she quickly moved forward and behind the demon, slicing at it's Achilles heel. While she couldn't risk humans, sending demons off to Gehenna was better than killing them off. She grunts and with the utmost precision slices up, cutting off one of the demons arms, which caused it to release the persons shoulder and yanked the human out of their grip. The human was definitely bigger than her, but she wasn't concerned about it at the moment. She dragged them off to the side and gently has them sit down and removes her robes, revealing black cargo pants, combat boots, and a croptop. "Keep this on your wound. I'll get back to you in just a minute, kay?" She carefully presses her coat against the wounds before leaping back to the demon. She needed to take care of this quickly. It was a lowergrade demon, nothing she was too worried about, she'd just need to prep the spell fast enough.
The Demon fell away at the hit to its arm, another loud growl shaking the ground around them. They turned their head up back to their first target, hidden in the darkness of the alley and struggling for air, then back up to the priestess standing over it. It flashed its bright teeth at Ylva again before backing away from her, bunching up in itself before completely disappearing, all in the span of a few moments.
A few feet away, Gou was still coughing and holding their unscathed neck, slowly standing up to their thick-booted feet and using the wall as a support. They looked up in time to see the Demon escaping in wisps of smoke, and disappearing with dark flickers down the street. Gou ran a hand through their short, shaved hair with a slight, loopy grin, nudging themselves off of the wall and sauntering over to the priest.
"I would have been able to handle that on my own, but I appreciate the help," Gou said in a rumbly, scratching voice as they held their neck steady. "I don't need anything else from your organization, though." They waved their hand nonchalantly, as if a Demon just didn't sink its teeth into their shoulder and try to rip it off, nor strangle them to death like they were some sort of chew toy.
She watches them go and clicks her tongue in disapproval. She allows the sword to disappear, as well as the sword. She glaces at Gou and shrugged a bit. "First of all, my organization is just doing it's job. Furthermore, if you're able to handle this on your own, please explain to me why I needed to come and save your ass in the first place-" then her com crackled and she hissed. "Yah, what's up Harper?"
"While the signal from the demon has gone down, there seems to be both demon and angelic signals coming from your area. I'd stay wary if I was you." She nods a bit at that. "Yeah… just dealing with someone currently." She glances over at the other and sighed a bit. "JUST GET BACK HOME YOU TURD! OR WE WON'T SAVE ANY OF ALEX'S FOOD FOR WHEN YOU GET BACK." She winced at the loud yelling of Terrance screeching in the background. "Okay, okay. I'll be home soon, I promise." She cleared her throat and turned her com down a little bit. "Well… If all is done here, I'll be needing my robes back… further more, since you don't seem fazed by demons, mind if we have a little chat?" She runs a hand through her hair, and glances around the alley. The spell was still whirling around them. She clapped her hands firmly together and watched as it faded.
Gou prowled over and pulled off of the robe slowly from around their shoulder with their good arm, still supporting their neck with their hand. Their shit-eating grin still remained on their face as they tossed the robes over, with not much effort or care for where it went. The soft, light fabric fell down onto the floor of the alley, and as Gou walked closer to their savior, barely missed stepping on it with their thick boots. As they moved forward, the sparks from the streetlight began to fall again as if agitated by Gou's movement.
"What's the chat about, huh?" They finally asked after a few moments of looking over Ylva with their dark eyes. Upon first glance their eyes seemed too dark. "I don't think there's anything to be concerned about." They rolled their shoulders back, their hand falling away from their neck as they stood a few feet away from their savior. "I said I appreciated the help. The most you could have done was said 'you're welcome'." They cocked their eyebrows, which glittered with piercings and had very visible eyebrow slits.
