“You could say that,” Farah answered easily. There was a cottage deep in the woods that several fairies stayed at occasionally. Humans were forbidden to know about it, so she stayed clear of any specifics.

“How long have you lived here?” she asked in return, motioning to the house around them and hoping to steer the conversation elsewhere quickly.

“Yes,” Farah answered, realizing her mistake only seconds later. “But it wasn’t anywhere near here though.” What was the word humans used for other schools? she wondered quickly. “Um, abroad.”

It was all Farah could do not to sigh with relief. She didn’t need Azalea questioning her.

“Nearly,” she replied, taking a few finals sips before handing over her cup. “Thank you.”

(Yep!)

Farah approached the house again, hiding behind a tree as she contemplated her choice. Should she go back? It was risky enough the first time, but the girl had been so nice… She shook her head and took a deep breath before heading for the gate Azalea had led her through. She reached the back door and knocked. "Azalea?"

Azalea smiled as she rushed to the door. She was hoping Farah would come back. Farah had been such a polite and pleasant houseguest. She opened the door "Hi Farah!" She greeted, moving aside and gesturing for her to come in. "How have you been?" She asked sweetly

Farah smiled as Azalea greeted her in the same friendly manner as she had before. "Quite well, and yourself?" she asked, stepping through the threshold and into the mansion Azalea called home. It looked and smelled the same as it had before. Nothing changed.

"Good." Azalea began before stopping Farah by standing in front of her "Before you go in there, I have to warn you that my dad is here. Please don't bring up fairies if you like them, because he will go on a whole rant about how much he hates them" She warned quietly. She didn't want anything to happen, because though her dad was a kind man, he held a special brand of hate in his heart for fairies

Farah immediately froze with fear. She felt as though there was a neon sign above her head spelling out FAIRY and pointing down at her.

“O-Oh,” she stammered, praying Azalea didn’t take too much notice to it. “Alright. Thanks for the warning.”
