Merriment leaned over her lilac-colored bass, pen in her hand as she bent over the notebook, trying to double-check her translations. The band said they wanted something different, and, well, she hasn't heard any verses in Latin, at least not to her knowledge. She cleared her throat, figuring she should probably see how it would flow out loud, already cringing at the fact that she would have to hear her own voice. She squinted at the words, taking a deep breath before quietly singing them.

Apollyon was at home, in his house in hell when suddenly everything turned white. He heard faint singing and he closed his eyes. When he opened them he saw a girl. Her skin fair and pale, her hair dark and long, and he clothes all black.

He blinked his eye's aggressively to see if this were a dream, though he knew it wasn't possible, demons don't dream.

His mouth turned into a lopsided grin, his sharp incisors showing.
"Well hello there." He said.

Merriment jumped at the sound of another's voice, straightening up to look at the source. "Who the fuck are you?" She asked, startled.

Apollyon bowed slowly, when he stood back up, or rather straightened while floating he smiled.

"Im Apollyon, a greek demon." He said with a crooked, toothy grin.
He looked around and blinked furiously "and who might you be?" he asked.

"Merriment, bassist of Feral Fearie, why are you here?" She asked, rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things.

Apollyon scoffed slightly, crossing his arms across his chest.

"I don't know, why don't you tell me, you're the one who summoned me." He said, his tone sarcastic yet playful. He brought his gaze from his room around him, back to Merriment.

"I love your outfit by the way, you would definitely fit in, in my world." He commented with a sharp toothed, crooked smile.

"…The fuck do you mean I summoned you?" She asked sharply, putting her bass to the side and standing up. "I'm just trying to get a song done!"

Apollyon broke into a soft laugh, which was low and gruff.

"That's exactly what you did sweetheart." He said, faint tears coming from the corner of his eyes.
"You summoned me with your song!" He said loudly, sweeping his arms wide open in a look what you've done. Gesture

"I was just making sure it sounded okay? You were supposed to be a verse about conservatives trying to censor music by causing religious panic!" She said, running a hand through her hair. "Stupid fucking translations-"

"hey now young lady, watch your tone and language." He said with a grin.

He lowered himself, until his feet touched the ground.
"We don't want those conservatives getting their panties in a twist." He added with a bellowing laugh.

He went around the room, touching things lightly with his fingers and when he circled back to where he was before, he retracted his horns into the skin on his head, and suddenly he was in his human form.

"First of all, you do not tell me how to speak in my own home." She snapped. "Second of all-you expect me to believe I accidentally managed to write some incantation to summon a demon? Really?"
