(I think here is just fine! If anything like, explicit comes up we either fade to black or just go to dms, but I doubt it'll rlly go in that direction in the first place.)

(I'm fine doing the starter! Anything extra I should know before writing it? Like, so I don't accidentally omit an important detail (setting, ect)

Ok! I’ll give a rundown and the punishment for the crimes

  • child abuse of ANY kind is illegal and is punished by torture and/or death
  • treason can either be punished by death, or lifetime in prison.
  • murder (depending on the degree and how many times someone has murdered or who they murdered and their reasoning) is punishable by life in prison or death.
  • segregation, sexism, homophobia, and anything else in that nature is punished by public service and/or public ‘embarrassment’. (Such as having the public chose what their punishment is.) many other smaller crimes like this have similar consequences. Though even if this is considered a small crime, it is still illegal.
  • harassment (depending on the degree) is punishable by prison time and house arrest afterward.

Since it is the underworld, and the population is either dead people, or demons, laws and punishments are lenient. But major crimes like the ones listed above and etc have much harsher punishment. Smaller crimes will most likely lead to house arrest or public service.

(Id prefer not to fall into every response being a one liner, but a one liner every once in a while is fine ig? As long as not much is happening action wise I can justify a short response)

It was your typical day in hell. The shrieks of the tortured in the distance, the wails of banshees and other ghosts alike drifting through the large kingdom. The streets were packed and bustling, all sorts of people from many walks of life (and death) conversing and trading. Even the most desolate of areas had something going on, rumours and whispers floating through narrow alleyways. The palace stood tall, dark, and imposing in the very heart of the kingdom, guards stationed at each possible entrance. This natural, peaceful routine was bound to be interrupted, however.

A barred, armoured carriage came to a stop outside the palace doors. One of the carriages doors open, and a heavily armoured guard steps out, gripping chains in his hands. He gives them a harsh tug, and out comes the main attraction; the Star Thief, in the flesh. He stumbles and pulls against his restraints as he's tugged out of the carriage, many curses and foul words escaping him as he pulls against every step the guard takes towards the palace doors. Soon another guard comes up behind the Thief, not allowing any chance of escape even if he did break free of his chains. The man drags his feet at every step, hissing and biting at every form of contact, seeming particularly unhappy with the iron cuffs around his wrists and ankles.

Nevertheless, the guards make it with some difficulty to the doors, bringing the thief inside once they creak open. The inside of the palace was sure a sight to behold. Grand architecture, tapestries and paintings covering each wall, all leading to the throne room. Once the guards and the thief arrive, they stop before said throne, one guard stepping forward to address the king himself.

"Lord Lucifer, we have captured the Thief. I'm sure you are aware of his many crimes. He has been accused of treason, and I'm sure we all agree we'd like him gone sooner rather than later. What would you like us to do with him?" Once the guard finishes speaking, Sera seems to finally stop and look around, expression riddled with frustration and anger. He can't believe he's been caught in such a place as the underworld. Treason, too? What the hell kind of speculation is that? His eyes eventually land on the king. Malice fills his expression for a split second, before Sera seems to take a closer look, recognition dawning on him. Great. His fate is up to the father of his ex-friend that he more or less betrayed by turning to a life of crime. How could this get worse?

Lucifer looks up from talking to his son and frowns deeply. “Well it’s about time.” He mutters, standing and looking down. The king was a widowed man who had lost his other son in a terrifying explosion in the palace. He looked tired and was starting to grey from his centuries of ruling.

Geo, was the only survivor besides his father. It was honestly a miracle that he managed to survive. Rumor had it that he ran back into the collapsing building to rescue his younger brother. The poor boys eyes were dull and filled with mental, and physical pain. He carried a cane to help him walk and leaned on it heavily. The boys leg had been injured several times over, and was too broken to be repaired. Even though he was offered chances to get a prosthetic leg, he refused.

Lucifer spoke up. “I’ll speak to him for a while. After that, lock him up.” He steps down from his throne, looking the boy up and down.

Geo on the other hand, goes silent. He stared at the boy, slightly backing away. Geo had no trust left in him. The only known person he did trust was his father. Rumor had it that he had just gotten out of a very strange relationship, and ever since then, he had grown more and more skittish with every coming day.

Lucifer narrows his eyes. “Why do you steal?”
