Jasper wrapped his arms around his waist. "I know. I missed you too, so much."

"Were my letters helpful? I just wanted to make sure you remembered that all of us are thinking about you…" Nathaniel yawned.

"Yes love. Now sleep. I can tell you want too." Jasper said softly, rubbing his back.

"But I wanna stay awake with you…" He whined softly, looking up at Jasper.

"You're exhausted love. Get some sleep. I'm not going anywhere." Jasper said

"Mmmmm…." Nathaniel reluctantly closed his eyes again, still wanting to stay awake but knowing he wasn't likely to for long anyways. Sure enough, he soon drifted off to sleep in Jasper's arms.

Jasoer smiled as Nathaniel slept. He stroked his back gently. He was glad to be home and the love of his life in his arms. It took him a while but he finally fell asleep as well

In the morning, Nathaniel woke up and went into the kitchen to make breakfast.

Jasper was still sound asleep on the couch. As Nathaniel had gotten up, he turned over on to his stomach

Nathaniel picked up a few pans, but lost his grip and dropped them, grimacing at the loud clattering sound that resulted from it.

Jasper jumped awake at the sound, muttering incoherently. It took him a couple minutes to remember where he was.

"S-Sorry! I… I dropped some things by mistake… sorry love…" Nathaniel quickly picked up the pans.

"Its fine. It's not your fault." Jasper got up. He walked over to him, shaking out his limbs. He bent down and helped him pick the pans up

"I didn't mean to wake you up…" Nathaniel set the pans on the counter and fetched ingredients for pancakes.

"It's okay. It was an accident." He kissed tge too of his head. "It was about time I got up anyways."

(So like, what triggers his PTSD? I'm trying to help you out here)
Nathaniel started making pancake mix. "You can go back to sleep if you'd like. It'll take a few minutes for these to be ready."

(Loud noises, crowds, the smell of him powder of fires, small spaces. Plus he normally had bad nightmares, not every night, but its happens alot)

"I'm fine. I'm already up, no point in going back to bed." Jasper sat down at the table amd watched him

(Yeah I figured loud noises would, so that's why I made Nathaniel drop things)
"Alright, love…" Nathaniel finished making the pancakes and brought them to the table, laying a plate of them in front of Jasper.

(Okay)

Jasper grabbed some syrup and silverware and started eating. "Delicious love." He praised

Nathaniel grinned and started eating his pancakes as well. "What do you want to do today?"

"Go visit my parents, maybe go out to eat or go to the park or something." Jasoer said with a shrug of his shoulders

"Sounds good to me. I haven't seen too much of your parents since you left…" Nathaniel put his plate in the sink when he was finished eating.

Jasper set his plate in the sink as well. "Why not?" He asked curiously.

Nathaniel shrugged. "They usually come over to visit you, not me. They just didn't come over much. I went to visit them a few times, though…"

Jasper nodded and kissed the side of his head. "They're going to be your family soon enough. I want you guys to get along."

"I mean, we get along fine when they're here, they just… didn't have much reason to come." Nathaniel hugged Jasper, burying his face in the other's chest.

Jasper brushed the other's hair back. He nodded again. "Well I'm here now."

"Mhmm…" Nathaniel hugged Jasper tighter, his voice a bit muffled. "I love you…"

"I love you too." Jasper bent down and picked him up

Nathaniel smiled a bit and kissed Jasper, wrapping his arms around his neck to stabilize himself.
