HmMmMmM… no. But I guess what genre do we want to do? Or a mix like a fantasy/romance or a modern or… whatever… and if a romance… gay or straight?

@Fantasy-Illy!

We always have to have a little romance, and I'm thinking fantasy/modern? I usually prefer straight, if that's okay with you.

@ElderGod-Carrots

whispering modern witches… cough AnYwAy, I'm cool with modern/fantasy/straight romance :)
High key wanna play a girl this time but I don't mind either way…

@Fantasy-Illy!

No that's totally fine. I don't mind playing a guy. So what about, fantasy beings and creatures exists in the modern world. My character is a genius detective and is trying to solve mysterious murders that have been going on and somehow your character gets roped into it and tries to help.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Mines actually going to be like 20 let's just say part of his past is why he is a Detective and he started at a young age. But you can do an older women if you want, I don't mind.

The air was echoed with the sound of sirens. Yellow tape surrounded a small house on the corner of a neighborhood. People talked, like they always did. "She was a whore." One exclaimed. Then others followed along. People are like animals, one leads and the others just blindly follow. Ky on the other hand walked at his own pace, tuning out the people's voices. His black trenchcoat flowed behind him as the wind blew. People stared, some would say he should be a model. But that's not what life had planned for him. Lifting the yellow tape, he ducked under and went to an officer. Officer Lily, someone who has been with Ky throughout his childhood, and someone who was retiring soon. "What do we got?" He walked into the home to see a young female laying dead on her living room floor. "Anne Backer, age 24. Stabbed in the back. Literally." Damian grabbed a pair of gloves from his pocket and put them on. Kneeling down, Ky rubbed his finger in the blood. There was some that was wet, butvmost of it was dry at this point. "She's been dead quite a while." He went back out side and scanned over the crowd to see if he saw someone's reaction was a bit different from the rest. If she's been dead a while, then they had time to clean up and come admire their work. Or that's what this kill seemed like.

To say the young witch was shocked was an understatement. As soon as she found out Anne was dead, her old friend, she'd raced to the the crime scene, blonde hair obscuring her vision as she ran. She was basically still in her pajamas's, well, what she wore as a substitute anyway. She stopped when she made it to the tap, swallowing as eyes wide. So it was real then and not some nightmare.

Damian watched as they took her body away. The black bag covered an innocent womans body. The knife was kept in a bag, for further investigation. "Damian!" An older man voice came from behind and tapped him on the shoulder. "So, are you willing to help?" Looking around at the crowed once more he locked eyes with the only person who looked sad that Anne had died. "No. Sorry but the police can figure this out on their own. I'm not someone you can call just because you are too lazy to do your jobs." The mans face dropped. He had heard of rumors of Ky. He was notorious for his bad attitude and cold demeanor. He was the only one to decide what he will and won't work on. This girl Anne though, why was there only one person crying for her? Before he walked away, he looked back one more time at the girl who cried.

Lyra wiped at her face. She tilted her head to the side curiously at the man who had looked at her, confusion marring her features. She bit her lip and looked down at the floor, not wanting to think into it too much. Her old friend, basically her mother, had just been well… murdered and she didn't know who or what or why. That caused her to frown, well more pout then anything.

@Fantasy-Illy!

(I think it would be funny if they ended up living next door to each other.)
Ky went home leaving the scene behind. That night before bed, he looked at his wall of murder's and added Anne's picture to it. If anyone saw this wall, they might mistake him for the murder. The next morning, he woke up to a bright blue sky, there was no cloud in the sky. It's been getting warmer out, and he didn't like it. Ky sat up in bed and stretched his tense bones. Once up he changed into some short and turned some music on in his ear buds. Because it has been getting warmer, Ky didn't wear a shirt on his run. Being a Detective meant he had to be on his toes, he had to be physically in shape to chase down any murderers if he had too. Many people ran in his neighborhood, thinking it was one of the safer ones. But they were wrong, everywhere was dangerous. Ky was very good at reading people and very observant of his surroundings. It must be because of his dad. After about a mile run, he rested at a nearby park, to drink some water. Although he tried not too, Ky couldn't help but analyze people.

(Lol- at like three am he gets annoyed at the neighbor for blasting AC/DC and goes round to complain only to be met with an angry and confused witch)
Normally, Lyra wasn't an early riser. She'd rather leisurely lounge around her home while some rock band played, mixing potions and spending time with her cat but the murder had really shaken her up. If it had been someone else she might not have been so upset but it was Anne and she was. She changed into a pair of black booty shorts and an oversized AC/DC shirt, pulled on her shoes and left the house, needing the fresh air. She knew a lot of people in this part of town and most knew her to be peppy and cheerful with a side of sass but today her shoulders dropped slightly and her blue eyes didn't sparkle as much as they normally did. She picked a shady spot under a tree, leaning her had against the trunk and closing her eyes, basking in the heat and hoping her small pale body would be tanner when she left.

Ky watched the kids on the playground, which probably made him look like a creeper. The way Ky saw the world was a bit different. Although he was one of the last few full blooded humans. Or at least that's what his parents told him. He couldn't help but feel he was different. As he was thinking a figure caught his eye. The girl from last night? Maybe she could answer some questions for him. Even though he was off the case. "Hey." He lightly kicked her leg. His tall figure shaded her from the sun. His messy, black hair hung over his ice blue eyes.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Lyra frowned at whoever was blocking the sun, "Hi…" She mumbled, opening her eyes. If she looked small standing up then she probably looked tiny to whoever this is sitting down, "Could you a… move?" Normally she would come up with some witty reply but she couldn't be bothered right now and for once she just wanted to be left alone.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Ky stepped to the side, and the sun blared on her with no restraint. "I have some questions." He peered down at her with arms crossed. He needed to get home, soon. It was almost time for coffee, and playing outside with his dog. He couldn't be off schedule. "I have questions. About Anne Backer." Ky's face stayed emotionless, he was good with people, or dealing with his emotions, so he's always been called the cold detective. Although rumors never bothered him.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Lyra closed her eyes, though she tensed slightly at the mention of Anne. She took a moment before she responded, "What about her?" She asked, brushing a stand of her blonde hair out her face. She really didn't want to deal with whoever this guy was. The police or detective or whatever.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I noticed you were the only one who grieved when she died. Do you know of someone who would want her dead?" Why was he doing this again? He wasn't on the case, but for some reason he couldn't get her dead body out of his mind. The more he thought about it the more he merged it with the memory of his mother's death, and the man with a gun in his hand. Tears slipped down his younger self's face. That man had a smug grin and twisted amusement in his eyes. "The rumors about her, are they true?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"The rumors that she was a whore? A prostitute?" Lyra felt her heart tighten and chest knot, shaking her head, "No, they're not true. She would never do something like that, even if it meant putting food on the table," She wrapped her arms around her chest and sighed, "And no, I can't think of anyone who'd want her dead."
