Alright, so I have this character, but I don't know what her origin should be, any ideas?

Echoloation, can see sound waves, can hear/feel vibrations in the ground, can convert sound into light.

@Azuresbend

Well, hmm how do I ask this, are their powers related to their personality or hobbies? As in they were some sort of bat scientist or dolphin trainer or Navy Submariner and got powers as a random accident on the job or were they a normal person without an interest in echolocation who got powers through a random accident of randomness?

Well shes like Half-Elf and it helps her connect with nature more I guess? I think im going to have some evil scientist experiment on her? I mean its weird because I want to show her powers more as a flaw but also an advantage.

@Azuresbend

Haha alright seems as good as an idea as any, so I guess some questions to help you flesh that out would be,
-Why is this scientist trying to give someone echolocation in the first place?
-How did he get the means to do this? funds, magic, science etc.
-Why of all people, and elves, was she selected?
-How does she get from lab rat to wherever she is when your story begins?
-Are their any long term emotional and psychological effects of being a science experiment that will play into your story?
Yeah good start though, Good luck

1) Well she is already a hero bu this time. Well they wanted a weapon/person, like a tracker, the ultimate person if you know what I mean by this.

2) The weapon thing.

3) She didn't really have an super powers and they took their chance. She was most fit to do it.

4) Some other heros break her out and then they go and destroy the evil organization.

5) Yes there is, because I want her powers to kind of play as both a flaw and advantage and it might affect her personality.
