By the way, I am not a publisher or agent or anything, nor is this probably proper pitching technique. I just thought it would be a fun challenge.

We can rate each others pitches down below!

@Oakiin

Here's mine to kick us off:

Title: The Ancients
Plot: Four old people from various eras discover time travel and team up to do good in the world
Twists & Character Arcs: The characters do not all get along, and have different views. They must learn to become an effective team, while defeating arthritis. Time travel is very sketchy, and may turn you into a tea-pot.

Title: The Den

Plot: A popular all-sexuality sex club in the slums of the bustling city of Camperdown has had a spike in attention recently surrounding a silly urban myth

Twists & Character Arcs: Leonardo makes the decision he doesn't want to be used for others pleasure anymore and makes the decision to quit his job at the Den. One of his coworkers knows better than to leave the den, however, and try to safely pull him away from the myths and conspiracy surrounding this supposed "safe place", and were all those missing sex workers end up,,,

This is great but it exceeds the word limits! Remember your plot pitch can only be 20 words max, and your twists and arcs have to be constructed of three or less sentences of twelve or less words each! :)
And don't forget to say something about the pitch above you!
And personally, that book isn't one I would read, but it sounds really interesting, it's such an unused plot idea, very original!

Here's another one of mine since I did yours xD

Title: The Living Tell Lies
Plot: Dakota comes home to their parents murdered in illegal neurotoxin experimentation, and joins a military team, becoming the ruthless Belphegor
Twists & Character Arcs: Dakota's new team will turn out to be corrupted and morally compromised. They modify their own body armor set, decimating everyone hurting them. Dakota goes on a rampage of murder, but they still aren't happy.

@SpookyScarySnoteleks group

Title: Betas Risen

Twists & Character Arcs: The man in charge of the Solar System's oppressive government was one of the government experiments. When a character's love interest is killed, he leaves the team. The rest of the team tries to get him back.

@Shadow_Knight group

Title: Beyond the Wall

@Oakiin

Taking this opportunity to ask everyone carefully read the only 2 rules I have listed and follow them both before posting! I really want this to be a thread people can get discussion and feedback on their ideas! Please do not post unless you are also following both rules! Thank-you! :D
And thank you to everyone who's posted and is following! I'm super excited to see you guys's stories <3

Title: Hex Express
Plot: Two thieves commit to robbing a passenger; but if they don't move quickly, they'll lose far more than they've gained.
Twists & Character Arcs: Their family of orphans and thieves are alone and in danger. Nothing but Witches, Dragons, Vaebors and Giants stand in their way. Will they survive their hexes, or die far from home?

@Shadow_Knight_Is_Going_To_Die!!!!!
Rating: 4/5
Great title and plot summary, I'm very interested in the world and characters involved and how they react to the outside world. I already have questions: Who tasked her to go to the outer world? Why would they? Why her? It's a great start. The twists and arc section also offers a lot of mystery and intrigue, cause I do want to know why did the government lie and how did they keep this secret? All great worldbuilding questions, that I'm interested in understanding. Awesome. The second sentence did confuse me a little though, but it's a good start and now I know she's in danger of harm I'm already rooting for this character. I only gave it a 4 because there's always room to improve, and dystopia is a hard genre to be original with, but that's just my own personal bias.

@Cassiopeia

Hello~! I love this idea, so I hope you all don't mind my joining!

@TwitchyKyuu (I apologize for tagging the wrong person!)
I rate your pitch a 4/5! Your premise is interesting, and I'm already intrigued as to what will happen to the two thieves! The only reason I rated it a four, is because the plot twists and character arcs section is a bit confusing to me at first read, but I understand that it's hard to communicate within a word limit! I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors! :)

Title: Portraits of Strangers
Plot: A boy inherits his father's title in the wake of disaster, and uncovers a terrifying secret that could cost him his life.
Twists & Character Arcs: The protagonist has spent most of his childhood with his head in the clouds, isolated from his family and others around him. His father's passing causes this fantasy to crumble, and he is left alone. He realizes when an attempt on his life is made that something needs to give.

@Oakiin

@Cassiopeia Hello! Thanks for jumping on board!

I'd rate yours 4/5
The premise seems really original and interesting! I love the first arc/twist, and I'd definitely give this book a read if I saw it in the library!
The reason I took of the point I did was simply because the word limit wasn't followed very well in either category. You went over in both places. But the story itself seems really good! I'd want to know more if I actually were a publisher or agent xDD

Here's yet another of mine:

Title: VV Cephei Titan
Plot: Australia's scientists are developing the next war-stopper, a giant warrior known as Titan, but then he starts to show empathy
Twists & Character Arcs: Peyton realizes Titan's potential for kindness, and decides to get him out. The lead scientist gets mad and starts making Titan 2.0. Peyton must keep her daughter, Titan, and a kitten safe, despite this.

@GoodThingGoing group

I'd give yours a 3/5, it sounds interesting but not my cup of tea.

Title: Iron And Ash
Plot: Sisters are separated by the fae, work to find each other and build alliances to fight evil.
Twists/Character Arcs: Lucas has a father (and he isn't sure if that's good or bad), Vivian learns to lower her guard, Giana lets go of her internalized guilt, Ophelia is forced into self-reliance, Lavinia regains her desire to fight back, Iam learns that his heritage isn't what it seems, and Oleander is not what he seems, in more ways than one. Oh, and the Woods aren't the only thing watching; keep an eye on those statues.

@GoodThingGoing group

Title: Not Crazy
Plot: Beckett Randall is a very sane, very normal guy. He doesn't have any repressed trauma or symptoms of mental illness.
Twists/Character Arcs: Beck deals with feelings of driftlessness and intense grief while wandering around at night with a train ticket and a hat he values more than his life.

@moss

@ThoroughlyAccursedCreator

I'd give yours a 3/5. It sounds interesting but I feel like I'd have to know more about the plot to understand it.

@moss

Here's this idea I recently thought of

Title: A New Dawn (this title is very temporary ik it sucks)
Plot: A failed superhero is living a miserable life when a young teen knocks on his door and asks for training.
Twists & Character Arcs: At first he's reluctant but as he trains the kid, he regains the sense of hope he first felt when becoming a superhero.

@GoodThingGoing group

Title: Iron And Ash
