I think stabbing it in a weak spot would work. Like the underbelly.
Or, if the scales are really tough, somewhere where there might be a scale missing (Like Smaug if you've read The Hobbit)

In the book i'm writing, Dragons are invincible to everything except one metal, and even then there are only a few places where they are sensitive enough to be killed. I don't know how accurate it is, but since the Dragons in my story are man-made, I figured I could assume whatever I wanted. Underbelly, neck, and eyes are the weakest parts.

Have something really big (like a stalactite or chandelier with a lot of pointy bits) fall on top of them, either on purpose or by accident. How else do you expect a three-foot-tall walking cactus that chucks coconuts to kill a Black Dragon?
