@shadepai

im looking for advice i want to be a very skilled writer im lacking in alot of writing and arts though i have a big heart and determination and a feeling of great imagination i'd love some help with can be.

im thinking about putting gems into category like elements and natural things i also would like to use speed and love of the heart to put into a heroesic kind of category though im not as skilled or that advanced i'd like to learn and try my best and put all my love of creative writing into a small book at least a little one of four or seven pages long.

if anyone has any advice for me then i'd be happy to hear about i should try putting into a book (my book will be for all ages with no adult themes or pg themes i want it to be friendly for everyone, meaning children friendly)

@Masterkey

So is the book you want to write gonna have an overarching plot, or will it be a collection of random things in one story?

@shadepai

i'd like the story to advance to at least an acceptable plot filled with mystery and twists and turns and a sturdy plot twist or at least a normal storyline. something solid that can pass slightly at least.

@shadepai

i mean like i only want to start off a good book and if it's any good i'll continue and if it's not ill just leave it at like four to seven pages, i really dont have much faith in my writing.

@Masterkey

Oh okay. Well the only way to write better is to write MORE. I'd say start out with a project you're not as passionate about to get practice writing with. And also, please please please write down a plot. Not just in your head, but actually write it down. There's no correct way to write a plot, but at least have a set up/beginning, an inciting incident (the thing that starts the "adventure"), the rising action, the climax, the falling action, and then the conclusion. If you encounter all of your writer's block when you write the plot, you'll have much less problems when you're actually writing. It's easier to move around and edit plot points than it is to move around and edit whole chunks of your first draft, you know?

Hope this helps! If you have more questions about other aspects of writing, I'd love to help.

@shadepai

that would be nice. also i use to write books about 38 pages long just about things when i was passionate but i never really expanded i really never thought of writing again until i while ago so its difficult for me to write more than a page without throwing away the whole idea because it doesn't suit my "high" standards in my writing complexity.

also i think i've focused on drawing a lot more than writing so i don't know which i want to do more.

@Masterkey

I know what you mean about having high standards, but you kind of have to let go of that and just write whatever comes to mind. THEN bring that tough editor inside of you out to tear the first draft to pieces, and build it all up again into something better.

Drawing is cool too! Have you ever thought about making comics? Then you can make stories and draw at the same time.

@shadepai

thank you for helping me with my organization, but when it comes to writing im pretty much a newbie im still in school and im going into spring break if i were to write a book or like a small rough draft could i send it to you? or publish it on wattpad and tell you look at it? or send it to you? on here maybe?
