What's your favorite poem?
I know it's cliche but my all time favorite will never cease to be John Keats' Ode to a Nightingale, the imagery is so hauntingly beautiful in its sorrow. I've used and alluded to it in so many different stories and even built a supernatural story based off its lines, it just has that je ne sais quoi in its romantic descriptions that get me every time ya know.
I love poetry! My favorite would probably have to be ‘Nothing Gold Can Stay’ (Robert Frost.)
What do you think of Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening? that's probably my favorite Frost. The last last stanza really feels me.
I think that it is excellent. And I agree, that last stanza is deep. The thing about most of his poems is that they have so many alternate meanings, which makes them very interesting to read.
