So I'm writing a story book thing where dies and goes to the afterlife while someone is trying to overthrow the government. This whole thing sound so much like a stereotypical teen dystopian that I feel like I need to change something. Can anyone help?

Oh ok. Well (this is just from my expirience) but I’ve never read a book like that, XD, so I dont think its cliche, but if you were going to change something, maybe make the MC an anti-hero? They join the ‘bad guys’, but aren’t aware that they did? It would also be interesting to try to tell the story from a ‘villain’s’ POV without the reader knowing that they are the ‘villain’.
