To sum it up; I've recently created two female characters (their details are still being worked out). Since one is an elf (Zaire), and the other is some kind of winged being (maybe an angel, most likely going to come up with something else though) the story will definitely be in a fantasy setting.
The only problem is, I'm not confident as to how I'll set up their first meeting, seeing as romance is not my strong suit.
Considering what I have thought of for them, I might have them cross paths at a party hosted by a relative of the elf, where the winged being has been sent to either protect or kill someone (depends on which profession I end up giving her).
I'd just like to know, is this meeting too dull? I really would like to turn the story into a comic or to at least illustrate some parts once I have enough written.
If there are any better ways I could have them first meet, please let me know, I'll leave some of their basics below.
Zaire: Noble (most likely Marchioness), a total snob who thinks everyone is out to get her, often spends time hunting on her property with close friends, won't leave her property unless it's important (she refuses to attend social events unless they're hosted by someone very powerful or well-known)
Winged being: Some type of fighter (knight, assassin, who knows? I sure don't.) who often finds herself in awkward situations due to her lack of assertiveness, stays a loyal friend even if you've hurt her (until you go against her moral beliefs)
