Hiya friends. So I'm in a number of rps and have multiple randoms scenes and beginnings of stories. I love writing, but recently I've been comparing my writing to some other incredible writers on this site and I feel like I'm missing something, like my writing falls flat. If anyone had rped with me, or seen some of my writing, or would like to see some examples and help, then I'd love a general, extremely honest critique of my writing and what would help. Thank you!

Yo! It's been a while since I got much chance to read your writing, but since we're starting an rp again, I'll try to help if I can. Right off the bat I'll say that I don't see much of your style or technique that needs improving. I can give you some basic tips that I think all writers should bear in mind, but so far I have no major suggestions. ^^
Essentially, keep in mind the rhythm of your sentences and paragraphs.
-Read them aloud if that helps, sometimes confusing sentences will stick out that way
-Shift around/add or subtract commas (and other punctuation but especially commas) to see how the sentence works in different setups
-Keep a sharp eye out for repetition of words and phrases, especially if they're actions or mannerisms the characters commonly repeat. They may not stick out to you but as a reader, a little goes a long way.
-Vary the length of your sentences in each paragraph
-Break up paragraphs more, not less
-Feel free to add prose and write things in a unique, descriptive way, but basically stay on topic
I think that's all! It's kind of nitpicky stuff, I know, but hopefully it'll help with the finer details XD
