I am having the hardest time naming my newest project. It is a contemporary involving friends growing apart, a road trip gone wrong, the main character crushing on her best friend’s brother, and having to learn that your idea of happiness isn’t the same as everyone else’s.

Synopsis:
Summers in Florida were always Layne’s favorite, but with her best friend’s wedding coming up and the road trip that it’s going to take to get there, the Summer is seeming far less thrilling than usual. First, their last trip to Disney before the wedding is ruined when the weather decides to have a personal vendetta against them, sending a deluge of rain on the day they get to the park. Layne then gets stuck in a car with Darcy, her longtime crush and Rina’s older brother, and the two of them promptly get lost on their way to Massachusetts for the wedding that neither of them are excited for. If that wasn’t enough, Rina has an argument with Layne and Darcy right before the wedding, telling them that if they can’t be happy for her then they don’t have to bother coming. Layne is determined to get through the wedding day with as little friction as possible, but can she do it happily when she would rather push her best friend’s fiancé down a flight of stairs than accept him into the family?

It’s temporary name was “For Better or Worse” but I’m just don’t like it much anymore. Suggestions would be much appreciated!v

I sometimes don't make giving a wip a title a big deal; I'll wait for title inspiration from the story itself. Titles can be related to a character, an event, place, item, or even be part of something that is said in the story. Being theme related can help in a great way too!

I quite like For Better or For Worse because it has to do with wedding vows. Although it isn't as fitting, "From This Day Foward" could be a decent title because it still has to do with vows.
