The main character wakes up in a forest memory wiped and ends up moving into a village nearby. She ends up finding some power of a passed god and learns to use it helping her town and others that are all suffering due to a terrible ruler

The genre would be fantasy

Huh, for the memory wiped part a title that instinctively came to mind was "Blank Slate".
