Y'all… my crush (who is talking to somebody, knows I like her, and thinks I'm gorgeous) and I were in dance class and she goes (quiet enough so it's just for me) "Hey, Xander, there's an empty seat right next to me" and she smiled and god. If you've never heard a gorgeous girl say your name, it's awful. Now I know what my name sounds like off her lips and I'mmmmm dead. Is she still talking to someone??? Does she like me enough now??? Do I regret not sitting by her because I was nervous? (yes.)

Good, finally worked up the courage to tell my DND group what I'd like to be called so that was nice.
They accept and support me.

I have a bit of a strange proposition, but here me out; we stop using "John Doe" and "Jane Doe" for unidentified people, and only use "Jem Doe,*" a name that is both gender neutral and significantly less lame.

_{*Note: Boomers, of course, will still be called John and Jane Doe. This improvement will only apply to cool people.}
