And the owner hasn't said anything I've seen so far, but I could be wrong on that part

No, he hasn't. The ONLY thing I've heard about him is that his "Feelings are deeply hurt." Mind my french, but what the actual fuck??? We never said you're name hun, well, I never said you're name. You ould have been in there, answering questions, telling us why you're doing this. Instead, he sat there and watched as it all went to hell, then his feelings got hurt. What about us hmm? Our feelings didn't get hurt when we found out that SW was getting ripped away from us? Bull. I know for a fact that the admins fought for SW, they fought against this payment thing in the admin chat, but he was set on the payment. So it's not like he was defenseless.

I understand why you are all upset, and I understand that you all were defending yourselves. I wasn't the one who deleted your comments, but it's important to understand he's human and he's upset. He got a lot of hate over this and the things people were posting wasn't criticism- but blatant disrespect. I love this community, but this herd mentality is scary and has already affected someone deeply. Posting hate and talking behind his back won't solve anything. I get you are all frustrated, but give him time to recover and talk more about the things he's been seeing.

I meant respect by respecting him enough to not be so rude and make childish remarks about how story wars is doomed and how he's greedy. It's rude and terrible to say to someone who put time and money into Story Wars itself.

Gosh, I just checked back in. I'm going to apologize for accidentally deleting the link response. I was trying to get rid of all the nasty stuff and I was already stressed, so I may have accidentally gotten rid of some stuff that didn't need to be gotten rid of. You know how that goes: my mind was in a different place at that time. You can go ahead and repost the link if you wish, but I probably wouldn't, considering the things that have been said here. It's frustrating, I know, but we will get through this together.

I would like to make this very clear- I do not, nor will I, ever mean to hate on or disrespect Thomas, to his face or otherwise. I know how horrible I can be at expressing certain things and aspects of my emotions.

However, I must say he should have expected some kind of backlash from this. This is something that is very upsetting to people, even me who hasn't been on in quite some time. Many of the posts that were being deleted were also not disrespectful, such as my own, that were simply an observation of the situation and an opinion given. Still, I understand this most definitely affected him, and I will be backing off for now.

I am more than willing to wait and see what Thomas has to say about this himself. I'd love to see his point of view on all of this, and to understand why he saw this as a good thing to do. Until then, my opinion stands.

I also totally understand, @Scorpio, stress can do a lot to a person while there trying to deal with the situation in the moment. No, I don't think I'm going to be reposting the link to this thread in particular, and I probably will change the name of it to something else.

Ok yes, I agree, I get that maybe I took it too far. I was more mad at the fact that I tried to apologize and defend myself, but it was taken down. I understand the mentality behind the subscription, and I get that it's not my choice, and I should respect the decisions made because it's his time and money. I was mildly frustrated at the SW thing, but the taking down my defense and apologies made me really mad, and with that anger, I got more mad at the situation. I agree that I was being irrational, to and extent. I shouldn't talk about people behind their back yes, and it is terrible to call someone greedy, I agree. But you have to understand, a bomb was dropped and a whole day went by, an still nothing is said about it. We were pretty much left in the dark, and that was unsettling. It was left to stew in everyone's mind, and we were trying to find an alternative, and all the while, being sad about losing our friends. Yes, I took it too far, but that doesn't mean I'm not still mildly irritated. This could have been handled different on both sides. Also, this is just a website. Yes, it hurts to lose it, because it was a great one, but it'sa website. People, including me, took this thing way too far, treating it like a life or death situation. I am sorry for any feelings I might've hurt, but I tried apologizing once and someone took it down, three times. Again, that was what made me the most mad. I'm still a little mad, but there are other ways to deal with anger than talking bad about someone. Therefore, I will now write a murder story. I am truly sorry, ad I hope I haven't damaged any relationships. <3

Hello Story Wars people, welcome to Notebook.ai. I hope you all have a wonderful time here and I hope you'll stick around. My name is Wednesday, and some of you might already know me. Some of you might not, and you know what? That's fine. It's sad that starting the 14 of October there is going to be a subscription. It sucks. Either way, I'm glad that the SW community found a way to keep in touch. I'm not sure if that was Swim's doing (I'm pretty sure it was tho). I was going through the pages and I noticed that Swim is teaching you how things work. And that's awesome!

I was going to ask what was happening on SW, just like Ash did, but I decided to check it out myself. I'm gonna miss the people who do decide to stay and of course the stories (And the teams. Especially Team Euphoric). It's going to take a bit to get used to this new website, but I know y'all will love it (hopefully)!
