I know I just made a chat not even five minutes ago lmao. I might end up being the only one who uses that and honestly I'm fine with that, but pretty much just info dump about anything you like or find interesting, or just anything you know a lot about.

@catnap group

(Anything as long as it's appropriate but yeah haha)
(Just wanted to make this because I like talking about things I'm passionate about or know a lot about lol)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(So, I’m just going to link some things I love researching, just to simplify things)

(I’ll likely be adding more)

@catnap group

(Its fun to see what things others are interested in compared to me, personally I like researching more paranormal or mysterious things)
(A bit unrelated to what I just said above but I was looking through the list of legendary creatures link you posted and the Moon rabbit in the Rabbit and Hares section caught my eye 👀 Might end up looking into it more myself haha)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Thumbs-up and lol with the Moon rabbit. I, kind of obviously, tend to stick to animals, anatomy, and mythology, but I also do a wide range of other whatnot depending on the moment)
(Also somewhat unrelated to the topic, I like making my own custom creatures, though they’re usually just a combination of human and one or two animals. Sometimes though, it is a pain in the backside to figure things out, because I’m a stickler for being as realistic as possible)

I was really into urban legends a few years ago so I know a bit about a few. Honestly most of these kinda scare me but I always end up finding scary things to be super interesting, except later on I get paranoid about them lol. Also I would use my friends phone a lot in the mornings while we would wait for school to start and I would just read through this wiki called Hide and go kill (something like that) that I really liked. Some of my favorites are the elevator game, and this game that supposedly shows you how you will die (I dont believe this one to be real, its just fun to do with friends) and some others I dont remember the names of. Some urban legends I was into was Polybius and Hanako-san, a few others I also dont remember the name of aksdhbfj

Here is some of the things I mentioned, Im not as into urban legends and creepy stuff as I was but I still really like them. Also I dont feel like getting the other links cuz its getting late and like I said im pretty paranoid so Id rather not see those right now 🧍

And, just to add some more.
(Lol, dark/creepy stuff doesn’t faze me… sometimes)
Edit: (I really don’t pay attention to urban legends. Instead, I tend more toward dark/creepy art and creatures. Let’s just say, I can look at creepy creatures and not really be fazed, but some of the more hardcore art spooks me, particularly if it’s somewhat distorted)

(I avoid this guy. He’s actually a favorite, but I can barely look at his name, otherwise I get that ‘somebody’s watching me’ feeling and want to avoid all mirrors/windows/portals)

Editing this so I don’t clog up the thread too much with my ramblings.

I also like to research old deities/pantheons, like Ancient Greek, Ancient Egyptian, and Norse.

Fun Fact (of sorts)-
The names for the days of the week are from Latin terms. The Romans named the days after the planets (which included the sun and moon at the time), and the planets were named after gods. Some of the names were substituted with their Germanic counterparts (Norse).

Sunday: Day of the Sun
Monday: Day of the Moon
Tuesday: Day of Mars/Tyr (Roman/Norse)
Wednesday: Day of Odin/Mercury (Norse/Roman)
Thursday: Day of Thor/Jupiter (Norse/Roman)
Friday: Day of Frigga/Venus (Norse/Roman)
Saturday: Day of Saturn (Roman god of agriculture)

I spent my entire weekend reading a book I got on greek mythology and now have a notebook full of things that im interested in.

So far there's: The greek mythology section, the Astronomy section and the mythical creatures section

@catnap group

ooo :0 i dont know much about greek mythology but i have heard of a few gods, my favorite is Dionysus. also i love astronomy and mythical creatures :D
(btw you gave me an idea now, ill start writing things im interested in a notebook too. i have like 5 empty notebooks that have just been laying around lol)

@EtherealDreamer

like the first section is Greek mythology, separated by chapter like things such as gods, goddesses, myths, evil woman, evil men etc etc.

the next section is Astronomy, separated into chapters such as The basics, which includes mini chapters such as the sun, the planets, dwarf planets, the moon another series of mini chapters such as colored moons, moon phases.

Then Constellations is the next big chapter in the astronomy section.

I know it sounds complicated and confusing but I cant describe things well, its actually neat and understandable in the actual notebook.
