fun little trick that might help, and at least least will help with those that struggle in general with procrastination:

the two minute rule. if something can be done in under two minutes, you get up and do it. it gets me off my ass to grab snacks, to sort some laundry, to take out the trash, etc. it takes a bit to get into the habit, but that's how most habit building is. once you get into it it makes life so much easier

Also checklists for each day. I tend to be forgetful as well and end up doing a LOT of shit the night before. It helps to be like "okay, what do we have to do today?" and just write it down.
I personally like doing it in the notes app because when you check the little box it kinda sets off those happy chemicals as you check things off.
And maybe with the rp thing, you could set up a system for every x minutes you work or x problems finished, you get one reply.

(Oh, idk but @crocs-to-a-knife-fight replied the second after I did, so if you haven’t read it, my reply to your question was on the last page. Idk I got anxious about that haha)

Meanwhile, hello, I'm a burnt out gifted kid annoyed with the world and everyone in it, who gets angry when people are stupid then angry at myself for getting mad at people for being stupid and overthinks things that happened years ago. You can call me Nat.

hi I just wanna say
checklists work so well for me
like i don't know how to explain why but the night before I'll write down what I need to do for the next day and try to do everything on it
and I try to make sure the checklist isn't super long so I don't feel overwhelmed by it and actually do at least a few tasks on it
and checking it off?? good feeling bro

Is it weird that I kind of do the opposite? I still make a list (Mainly because it is fun to scribble stuff off) But I make it super long so I can have an excuse and I probably won't finish it, which does leave me unsatisfied, but when I do finish this super long list, it is the most satisfying thing

@actual-fandom-trash

organization is one of my things and checklists are like
another way for me to organize things
I'll have one big one for like, the week
and then break it up into days if I'm not as productive as I need to be
