Anybody up for a short story writing competition? Minimum 100 words, maximum 600? Write it about magic or something idk. I wouldn't be participating, I would just judge along with anybody else that wants to judge.
(if you actually do this I recommend that everybody reads Sandersons laws of magic because it helped me a lot)
I would be interested……. I would like to see if we could get a more concrete plan though….. only idea I have is some cliche college fantasy romance thing

That sounds great! So, the theme is just magic? Is there anything more specific, or just magic in general? Either one is fine, I'm just curious. Of course, we'll probably need more judges, too, and dates set. I can see if some people would like to join as competitors, too.
Just magic. I don't really like to be too strict with rules, I'd rather have people express their creativity and their own ideas in their writing. And once we get enough people to participate, we should all come up with a deadline together.

Does the theme magic imply that it has to be medevil fantasy? Or just some element of magic, even if you aren't creating another world or community full of magic
