STARTER
It does not have to be this long, but it can be, or it can be longer
Devon looked over the kingdoms before him, placing his mask over his face as he slung his staff across his back, jumping down from the cave entrance that the dark kingdom came from. His first stop was the electric kingdom. It took him a few days travel to get there.
Once he arrived at the Electric kingdom castle, Devon snuck in through the side, bumping into a boy with vibrant blue and yellow hair, knocking the electric heir to the ground.
The boy hopped up, glaring, “watch where you’re- wait…who are you”?
Devon contemplated knocking the kid out and taking the charm he wore that was connected to his source, that is what he had come for after all. “…”
“I’m Elias” Ely stuck his hand out to Devon.
“…” Devon stared at the other’s hand.
“Well, I think you’re here for something. I can help. Whatever it is. Probably.” Elias shrugged.
Devon pointed to the charm around the others neck, “I need that”
Elias took off the charm and handed it over, “sure, I have another one in my pocket, just in case, I have a habit of losing things”
Devon took it, confused, “you are helping me? Why?”
Elias grinned, “I like chaos”
“You could get in a lot of trouble for this-” Devon unslung the staff, wrapping the string around the gem, the purple gem glowing brighter and the electric yellow gem dimming for a second before both settled.
“Woah- you're one of the dark kingdom’s aren't you? That's super cool.” Elias grinned. “I want to go with you. I’ve seen the prophecy.”
Devon looked at Elias, shocked. “Fine’
So they teamed up, making their way to the fire kingdom next, over a few days. Once there Elias, who was friendly with most of the heirs, as a very extroverted person, knocked on the front door, with Devon shaking his head.
“Don’t worry, I am friends with them.” Elias rolled his eyes.
Ciana, Heir to the throne of the Light Kingdom, had convinced her parents to let her stay within the rest of the kingdoms for an extra month after the annual meeting, and they were excited to see the other kingdoms. They couldn't be caught, of course, as she had no idea how the other kingdoms would react to finding her. But she was there, watching, in the fire kingdom, planning to leave for the water kingdom soon, when she saw the Electric Prince knocking on the door of the castle… with someone who couldn't have been from any kingdom other than the Dark Kingdom.
Ciana was confused, concerned, and intrigued. She stood there, nearby, knowing that if she didn't go soon, she wouldn't have time to see the water kingdom before she had to go home. But she couldn't leave without knowing what the dark kingdom's visitor needed from the fire kingdom. She pulled her hood father over her face, watching from inside a bush.

Cimbaline, the illegitimate son of a Fire Duke, worked as a servant to the palace, and to the royals. It was the closest he could come to his father and half siblings, and he was treated fairly well, always having enough to eat, a place to sleep, and fine clothes to wear. So he worked there happily, although he felt he deserved to be treated as a dukes son. it wasn't his fault he was born to a woman that was not his fathers wife. Either way, he had just gotten back from delivering a package to the head of the royal guard, when, passing the door, he heard a knock. As per his job required, he opened the door to the castle cautiously, after waving a nearby guard over, in case is was a threat.
"Yes? May I help you?"
Elias beamed at Cimbaline, "hey, I'm Ely, the Electric heir. Im friends with Ginger, may I talk to her." He purposely did not mention Devon, hoping the guy would ignore or not notice.
Cimbaline glanced nervously at Devon, bowing to Elias. "Of course, I will go ask if her majesty is available. You understand if I can't let you inside?"
