The sun rose on the continent of Westwend, hitting the tall towers of Gilramore before any other town. The sky turned into a sea of pink and orange as the morning bells chimed in the large cities. In Grimsdale, a smaller town outside of Taefen, the bells were faint and distant, and early risers could see Taefen's looming walls and towers silhouetted against the morning sun. Even at such an early hour, horses and carts could be seen travelling Grimsdale's cobblestone roads. Shopkeepers began opening their stores and parents began waking up their children. All was peaceful and calm, as it always was in the morning in Grimsdale.

Kirogar woke to the sound of a bustling tavern underneath her. She had been staying in the inn above The Limping Rose, Grimsdale's largest tavern, for two days now. Hopefully she wouldn't have to stay much longer. Kiro quickly got dressed and ready for the day, stuffing everything into her backpack before making her way down to the tavern.

Tazlin was downing his third drink this morning. For Tazlin it doesn't matter how early the day was, drinks were needed. The sun just started streaming through the glass windows and the heat that Tazlin felt on his scaly back refreshed him. A noise to his left caught his attention and he turned his head to see a half-orc taking the steps downstairs. His eyes flittered back a little and caught a glimpse of a backpack on her back.
"Hey," his deep voice echoed towards the orc.

@PuffPoff

Kirogar couldn't help but flinch as the deep voice spoke to her. She wasn't used to meeting someone taller than her, and even sitting down she could tell how big this dragonborn was. She had also never seen a dragonborn in person, much less this close to the capital.
She waved causally, smiling a bit before she continued to the front door. She wasn't usually one to judge, but this random green-scaled humanoid made Kiro nervous.

Sai sat at the bar, observing everyone as they drank their booze. It was time to find some victims to prank and probably steal from, a usual Saturday. They raised an eyebrow at the person that was leaving the tavern, lookinf uncomfortable. Hm… She was with the dragonborn a moment ago, wasn't she?

Astra sat in the corner of the bar, in a booth. She's already had some drinks because she's quite the alcoholic. She focused her attention on the dragonborn rather than the half-orc. She's seen a few dragonborns before, but this one seemed to stand out to her.

(aww…I was gone for so long….and the rp died :( does anyone want to give this rp a second chance? I would love for it to continue if everyone else does…. )

@PuffPoff

(Ah sorry I'm back! I've been super busy the past few weeks and kind of forgot about Notebook…)
Kirogar was aware of the eyes watching her, but as always she ignored them. Half-orcs weren't too common this close to Taefen, or at all really, so it wasn't like this staring thing was new to her. She hadn't, however, expected everyone to be this casual about a dragonborn.
Her stomach growled at her, complaining about the lack of food. Kiro sighed and turned away from the door, heading back to the bar to get a quick breakfast to go. Hopefully no one would ask too many questions.

@Lunar_Eclipse

Tazlin stumbled his way over to the half-orc. His drunkenness making him unbalanced and disabling his filters. The first thing he said before properly introducing himself was; "Where you going? Your pack seems a bit full." His words slurred only a little. He was able to pronounce the words, but even then…it was obvious that he had been drinking way to long.

@PuffPoff

He's already drunk? This early in the morning? Kiro thought to herself as she forced a smile and turned to face the dragonborn.
"Just headin' out for the day." She replied simply, a bit of exaggerated perkiness to her voice. She gestured to her large backpack. "I like to be prepared for anything."

@Lunar_Eclipse

A little bit too loudly, Tazlin laughed. For literally no apparent reason. "What's your name, orc?" Tazlin downed the rest of the drink in front of him.

@PuffPoff

"Half-orc, actually," She corrected him quietly, hesitating before she continued. "And my name is Kiro."
Kirogar knew better than to give her full name to strangers, so she decided to stick with her nickname for now. There was a slightly awkward pause before she decided to continue the conversation politely. "What about you?"

@Lunar_Eclipse

"Ah, half-orc. I could tell." Tazlin seemed to make less and less sense as the conversation went along. "The name is Tazlin," he smiled, showing off his pearly white teeth. "Where are you headed off to?" Tazlin asked, seriously becoming annoying with all his questions.

@PuffPoff

"I'm just going outside," Kiro responded, technically not lying. "What's with all the questions, Tazlin?" She looked around the tavern, carefully watching to see if anyone was eavesdropping on them.

@Kev

(here's his character sheet)

Name: Endan Randrat
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: High Elf
Class: Sorcerer

Personality: Endan gives off a stuffy, aloof air. Being raised in a noble household, he prides himself on maintaining a show of chivalry and courtesy. He despises disrespect (unless he has deemed the individual unworthy of respect.) Despite this, he comes off as slightly rude. He adores most figures of nobility or authority and as a result, tends to put more faith in them than they're worth. Despite his haughtiness, he is not with redeemable qualities. He's extremely respectful to the ladies of the court (woman respecter 9000) and is knowledgeable of history, manners, and communication. While not a sweet talker, he has been educated in the art of conversation and has many higher up connections.

Appearance: Being a high elf, Endan has generally more angular features. He has a ruddy complexion with cheeks that are often tinged red, as though he has been out in the cold for too long. His pupils are shaped like a cat's, and his eye color changes. Normally, his iris' present as a dark -almost black- blue. When using his magic, however, they become a stark bright blue. At night, if a light is shined in his face, they're reflective (like an animal's.) He generally wears some type of formal wear, favoring a navy suit with golden lapels.
Weapons: Endan is a sorcerer, thus, he fights mostly with channeling magic through his body. However, in emergencies or cases in which he can't use his magic, he has a sword holstered to his hip. He can technically also channel his magic through this sword, but the process exhausts him quickly and is much less powerful.
Armor: Medium armor (also navy with gold accents. Endan is nothing if not dramatic.)
Spell Focus: Ice/frost
Backstory: Born to a noble family in Spalding, Endan grew up groomed as the heir of his families prestigious trading company and estate. He lived pampered in this way unchanged until the age of 13. On his 13th birthday, while running through the fields behind his estate, Endan tripped and went careening hundreds of feet down a canyon. When he was found hours later, he had miraculously survived and was incased in ice, feet thick. This experience was traced back to an ancient legend of fantastic magical powers manifesting in young boys who'd had near death encounters. Legend says that they were blessed by the Gods, and their survival meant they were destined to change the course of history (if they continue to live on past adulthood.) After this experience, Endan's family hired dozens of scholars and mentors to teach him to control his powers, but even now he struggles with the occasional spurt of power.
Other: Being an elf, he has racial traits that enable him to speak both common and elvish. (Unbeknownst to him and his party members, he can also speak celestial. Whether or not this comes into play isn't up to me :D)

Endan doesn't curse, as he finds it uncouth

@Kev

"Excuse me, madam." Maneuvering around Kiro, Endan attempted to enter the tavern. "Ah, excuse…" Endan's head tilted back further and further until he met the eyes of the dragonborn standing in front of him. He blinked before hurrying inside, not able to finish his sentence. Settling himself at one of the worn bar seats with a huff, Endan beckoned for the bartender. "Ahem. Barkeep!" He snapped his fingers until the bartender shuffled over to him, their eyes dark with annoyance.
"What can I get for you, buddy?"
Endan laughed. "Oh, please! You may simply call me sir." Before the shocked and disgruntled bartender could respond, he continued, "and please, I'd like something fruity. With a bit of panache perhaps?" A beat passed.
"Listen, buddy. We've got beer. It's that or nothing." With that, the barman retreated to a group of regulars looking to get a morning drink.
Endan sniffed. "The nerve." Waiting for his drink, he surveyed the tavern, searching for the businessman he was to meet with at this location. "We have that enormous dragonborn beside the young orcish lady… a half-orc, perhaps. The human woman with the striking hair just there, across the bar, and…" Endan's eyes flicked behind him and met the eyes of a shockingly pale fae. "Ah! Good lord, a faerie in such a populated area? How strange…"

@Lunar_Eclipse

"I'm just going outside," Kiro responded, technically not lying. "What's with all the questions, Tazlin?" She looked around the tavern, carefully watching to see if anyone was eavesdropping on them.

"What's wrong with questions?" Tazlin raised a scaly eyebrow.

@PuffPoff

Kiro casually moved by to let the new man by. "Lots of people have secrets. Ask too many questions and they might get suspicious of you." She told the dragonborn, a bit of annoyance creeping into her voice.

@Lunar_Eclipse

Tazlin stared down at the elf who just entered. He moved his muscly arm letting him through. His golden eyes following him to the counter. He looked back at Kiro. "Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude."
