"Ha, of course– wait, what?" Teon froze, the remainder of the pizza slice halfway to his mouth. "Please don't! I'd be devastated!"

"Very well." Teon set down the remainder of his pizza in the box and laid down next to her. "When will the… thing start?" He asked, looking at her.

"Good." Teon smiled contentedly and pressed a soft kiss on her lips. "Will my merman makeup need any touch ups before we go?" He asked, smiling playfully at her.
